I'm torn on which one to order. They both look so good. any advice from people who own one. I have to make a choice before my allocation comes in. Thanks

Have been able to look at both and drive the coupe. Ordering convertible.
$7500 is steep but when you burrow down to all the physical differences that make the vert roof happen, the cost is understandable. So, I don't have the perception of being gouged with the vert.
Nothing like driving a vert. More pleasure every moment when the top's down. Buffeting in the coupe diminishes that pleasure at speed. Looks infinitely better than a canvas top.
One person operation with the vert. Coupe not so much.
I've had both manual soft top (TR6) and auto soft top (S550 Mustang). I like auto hands down.

I have had a convertible C6 and C7, plus an RX-7 and MGB. I love convertibles, but will probably order a coupe C8 so I can see the engine. I will miss the C8 convertible.

It was a difficult choice. Love the view of the engine in the coupe. However, if you walk around the coupe it’s actually difficult to see the engine unless you bend over the side or back. I”m 5’10” so maybe its easier viewed by those taller. Love the exotic look of the convertible necklaces particularly with the top down. Wind buffeting is much less with the top down on the convertible compared to the coupe. Some of that perhaps attributed to the back window powering down. However, a $7500 premium on the convertible seems allot for top down convince and less wind buffeting. None the less I ordered the convertible. Best of luck to all the new owners of the first mid-engine Corvette.

I've had three convertibles, that number includes the C6 Grand Sport that I now have. I will keep my G.S. The coupe and the convertible look a lot alike when the top is up on the convertible. I like being able to see the top of the engine. You can get somewhat the same effect from the coupe that one get from the drop top when it's down. Plus the coup is a few thousands dollars cheaper. YES! I'm a cheap skate.

I ordered the convertible 1) Removable top is a pain in the butt
    2) If it starts to rain I just push a button
    3) I value my trunk space
    4) The convertible has a more exotic look

Topless for sure. Getting more "firsts" this way also; like the -nacelles-. Besides that, like my '77 T-top; you get the best of both Vette worlds.

Hard choice looking at the engine is nice although I ordered the convertible love the way it folds up I didn’t like the price tag

The coupe is almost a convertible in the first place, and the exposed engine under glass is what attracted me to my first Vette!
