How can you say you have to watch younger guys, for injuries, DT can't even stay on field. Ya get another draft and start all over again. That's funny it looks like the only one who'd looking at Kwit is the guy he will be playing with next year for 8 mill. Aaron ROGERS,, and put trubisky on his _ _ _
I hope you do give him away he will make more money, bears can't pay him sending him to a rival team, can't wait to see that game next year ya buddy.

Nick might be younger but he is not the better LB. Just look at the tape, all I remember is him chasing players from the back because they passed them up. Sign Danny for two years and draft a LB in the 4th or 5th rd.

Agree with Jay's reasoning, but we really don't know how the salary terms for the two players will turn out.
Green Bay overpaid for a Bear safety last year. It's possible that they would injure their salary cap by overpaying
another Bear player, just for spite. Danny was Denver's leading tackler on a superbowl winner and if he stays
healthy he would be the best choice. It's always a gamble.

I understand people wanting kwick back as I do think he’s gonna be better than Danny is now in a year or two but we don’t have a lot of cap room. I’d sooner sign Danny and KP to save money and take a linebacker in next years draft/free agency class. I don’t think linebacker is our biggest need and Danny and KP can do decently for a year with roquan. Save that money to address a position we need like paying one of those veteran qbs we’ve been linked to (Carr, Dalton) and maybe take some o line/tight end help in FA. Although I can’t state how much I’d hate it if the Green Bay poachers took kwick from us in FA this year like they did with Amos last year...

Sign Kwit and Louis...let danny T go. Kwit is solid and paired extremely well alongside R Smith...and KPL will constantly push Kwit for not just playing time, but the opportunities to start. KPL, R Smith and Kwit would give the Bears a pair of solid starters with a young solid backup at LB solidifying the center of the D for years to come. DT is a very solid LB, but unfortunately, age and injuries have definitely taken their toll and he is at the beginning of the end for his career as a result. Pace needs to secure the immediate future now with scheme experience players who have proven they can produce, and that is Kwit and Louis.

Kwiatkowski... last thing we need is an old defense along with our offense. Go with the youth. The offense will right its ship. We are a good veteran QB away from the final push, Carr or Newton could be that guy.

5 years ago it would be Trevnathan. Now got to be Kowiasky.

Let Kwiatkowski go. The Bears can sign Trevathan and Pierre-Louis for the same price as Kwiatkowski, alone. Kwiatkowski had the benefits of having solid defensive players around him. Plus, he finally comes around in a contract year? Avoid players like that. The work ethics are not as hard as people think. With Trevathan, the Bears have a proven starter that plays well next to Roquan. Then, the Bears get two linebackers that fill a team need, without spending to much money for an unproven player that was a career backup/special teams player, before he stepped up in a contract year. If Trevathan gets injured, Pierre-Louis can step in. We haven't seen a full year from Kwiatkowski. Nobody knows if he will be an injury liability. Then what? With Trevathan, your backup plan is already there with Pierre-Louis. Then, the Bears can concentrate on other issues, rather than get in a bidding war for a player that came alive for half a season!

Trevathan is a great player but if bears want to stay strong defensively keep the younger of the 2 players, nick proved himself last season. Hes younger and healthier

Who was better for their prospective teams; Derrick Rose or Walter Payton? There are a lot of if only with injured players but the really great ones spend time on injured reserve infrequently. I'll take the guy who's most likely to be around for the whole season.
