Do you think limited counter effects should be more prevalent outside of blue?

I like counters but they are what makes blue, blue. I do think counters, in small numbers, limited in scope or have major drawbacks should be seen from time to time. For example a green counter that only counters a spell targeting a spell on the stack could be printed and be fine as it fits greens anti-counter theme. Just my opinion though.

Anyway I was linked here from an article on EDHREC called Too Specific Top 10 – Counter-Intuitive.

Anyway they missed a major non-blue counter spell, Warping Wail.

It it Should be number 4 on the list with 2145 decks, 16 more then the listed number 4, Lapse of Certainty. It is flexible and cheap. Yes it only counters sorceries but it can do other things as well like make a chump blocker, ramp (sorta), and exile really small creatures. I had to point it out and couldn't fins the comment section for the article
