    Hello Mr. Pace
Do you know who Conrad Dobler was? Incognito? Ndamukung Suh? Lyle Alzado, Jack lambert, Mean Joe Green? Jack Tatum?
Lombardi Packers Obradovich? Mike Ditka? Late Payton? Singletary? Dan "Animal" Hampton? McMichael? Vikings John Randall? '85 Doug Plank? Deaf Raider CB, Lester Hays, and "Defense" Minister & Reverend, Late Reggie White? Just to name a few that quickly came to mind.

WHAT DO ALL THESE MEN HAVE IN COMMON Hmmmn???

THEY HAD, OR HAVE (Currently playing), LOTS & LOTS OF NASTY NASTY DOG FIGHT IN THEM. COMBATIVENESS, NASTINESS, WILLING TO DESTROY, DEMOLISH, VANQUISH, DOMINATE, AND RUN OVER THE OPPONENT. SOME OF THEM WERE PLAIN DIRTY, NASTY & EVIL BUT I INCLUDED THEM FOR A REASON.

THESE ARE THE KIND OF MEN WE NEED ON THE BEARS "MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY" TEAM. WE WILL WIN IF HALF THE TEAM WAS COMPRISED OF SIMILAR SPIRITED AFOREMENTIONED PLAYERS. WE HAVE TOO MANY COMPLACENT, CHECK SEEKING SELFISH PLAYERS. HIRE PEOPLE WHO WILL PLAY EVEN IF THEY NEVER GOT PAID. WHO SIMPLY LOVE THE GAME. OK, I KNOW THAT IS FANTASIZING, BUT YOU STILL GET MY DRIFT.
IS IT TODAY'S MILLENNIAL GENERATION, OR ME? I'M IN MY MID 60s.

Hey guys! DO NOT FORGET COLIN KAEPERNICK. HE IS AVAILABLE, AVAILABLE, BEEN READY, ALWAYS READY, AND IS REASONABLY PRICED. A LOT OF TEAMS COULD USE HIM AS A STARTER, OR BACK UP.

DO NOT FORGET COLIN K. HE WILL BE A GOOD RAIDERS QB. THE LATE AL DAVIS WOULD HAVE HIRED HIM IN A HEARTBEAT. THAT WAS WHY I WAS A RAIDER FAN DURING HIS OWNER DAYS. HE LOVED AND WON WITH THE "REJECTS".
HIS MOTTO, WAS, "JUST WIN BABY, JUST WIN", AND THEY DID. THE GREAT AL DAVIS. MY MAN.

I read here about the Bears concern regarding Cam Newton's health status. His foot issue? If I recollect properly, didn't Foles suffer a broken collar bone??? Didn't CAM also play in a Super Bowl game against Denver? Was also a season MVP?
For 3 more million dollars, or so, over Foles, couldn't the Bears have gotten a much younger Teddy Bridgewater???
They talked to teddy just to test the waters. The Bears were really not very serious. The conversation was cursory, and lite. Panthers jumped all over him, and laid out the red carpet. I hope we don't regret our choice as in Mahomes, Watson, et al. drafts. Time will tell. As I have said before, THE BEARS ARE NOT FOND OF BLACK QBs. Not implying anything, just saying.
From the days of Vince Evans under Ditka, to refusing to get available Donovan McNabb, a Chicago born native, who QB'd Philly to multiple playoffs, and also took them to a Super Bowl under Andy Reid.

    Message to CAM:

Cam needs to go to a team where the coach is a "QB Whisperer." He needs to go back to basics, and reacquaint with those elements that made him a great talent initially. His only potential handicap currently might be his age + his post surgical foot injury.

New Orleans with Sean Payton might do for him what it did for his heir apparent, Teddy Bridgewater who also was in similar position after his major injury in MN. Cam needs to heal physically, and spiritually/Psychologically to resurgence. The Superbowl loss to Denver took away a lot from him. That was Rivera's fault. Von Miller was all over Cam on every play. He had no chance. Greg Olsen constant injuries. Re OC Turner, I have never believed in him starting from his Chicago to San Diego, days. He did not help Cam out very much during the Denver SB game..

So any Coach, or Assistant who is great at QB developer, and nurturer is where Cam should be looking to, especially if he can lock up a #2 spot behind a relatively weak starter.
Time to retool the CAM. He can also check in with a very reputable Astrologer to see what City/Cities his chart would align for career success. Sometimes, we need a change of scenery to blossom.
CAM, Carolina says they don't need you. NEVER STAY WHERE YOU ARE NOT APPRECIATED IN ANY AREA OF LIFE. SO MOVE ON CAM. YOU MAY HAVE THE LAST LAUGH. MOVE ON!!! Best Wishes!

I like what Foles did in Philly. He had Peters, as well as a very solid O-line. Maybe he was trying too hard in Jacksonville with the large contract coupled with higher expectations.
I concur that Foles MUST HAVE A GOOD O-LINE TO ACHIEVE THE SAME LEVEL OF SUCCESS. MR. RYAN DON'T FORGET JIM MCMAHON'S QUOTE TO THE BEARS, "HOW CAN I COMPLETE A PASS LAYING ON MY BACK? THAT'S WHEN THE BEARS WENT OUT & GOT PERENNIAL PRO, JIMBO COVERT, JAY HILGENBERG, KEITH VAN HORN, AND THE REST WAS HISTORY.
WHITEHAIR IS INCONSISTENT, KYLE LONG WAS USUALLY HURT, THE RIGHT TACKLE MASSEY IS INCONSISTENT, AND SLOW, GETS BEAT BY FASTER PASS RUSHERS, DITTO FOR LENO ON THE LEFT SIDE WHO IS ALSO PRONE TO OFF SIDES THAT RUIN DRIVES. THE UNIT AS A WHOLE STRUGGLED TO MOVE DEFENSIVE LINES FOR A GOOD GROUND GAME. EXAMPLE WAS THE LONDON'S RAIDERS GAME. THAT WAS DISGRACEFUL. TO WATCH.
WE NEED PLAYERS WHO CAN MOVE THE D-LINE AT -WILL;. VERY POWERFUL PHYSICALLY STRONG WILLED PLAYERS, FULLY DETERMINED TO MOVE ANY PLAYER FROM POINT A TO POINT B. WHO ARE COMMITTED TO BLOCKING, NASTY, FEISTY, MEAN, ETC. WHO HAVE A CHIP ON THEIR SHOULDERS, AND WHO ARE PROUD, AND ALWAYS WANT TO WIN THE PERSONAL BATTLES UP FRONT. PACE NEEDS TO FIND THEM FAST. SCOUR EVERY POSSIBLE SOURCE, THEY ARE OUT THERE. WHAT WE HAVE NOW HAVE PROVEN INCONSISTENT. TIME TO RETOOL. I HOPE THE NEW COACHES CAN HELP. GOOD ENOUGH WILL NOT WORK WITH GB, VIKINGS, EAGLES, OR SAINTS DEFENSE IN THE NFC. WE NEED CONSISTENT HOLES CREATED ON RUN PLAYS, AND A CLEAN PASS POCKET FOR THE QB CONSISTENTLY. MAKE IT HAPPEN RYE.
IT ALL STARTS WITH ATTITUDE. FIND THE PLAYERS WITH THE ABOVE DESCRIBED ATTITUDE. NICK KWIATKOWSKI TURNED ON THAT ATTITUDE FILLING IN FOR INJURED TRAVATHAN, AND ROQUAN. PLAYERS TYPICALLY DO ON THEIR LAST CONTRACT YEAR FOR MONETARY INCENTIVES. I LOVE PLAYERS WHO ARE CONSISTENT THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE CONTRACT YEARS. THEY HAVE TOO MUCH PRIDE TO SLACK OFF. EXAMPLES ARE SINGLETARY, WILBER MARSHALL, MCMICHAEL, ERHLACHER, DAN HAMPTON, ESSENTIALLY THE WHOLE 85 BEARS. BUDDY RYAN PERSONALLY CHALLENGED HIS PLAYERS, TOLD THEM HOW MANY PICKS THEY WOULD HAVE IN A GAME, EXPECTED THEM, AND GOT THEM. HIS BOYS GOT COCKY, MADE SB VIDEOS BEFORE THEY GOT THERE, TALKED TRASH LIKE BUDDY, MADE THEIR OPPONENTS QUIVER ON OFFENSIVE PLAYS, TOTALLY DEMORALIZED THEIR OPPONENTS, ETC, ETC. DO YOU SEE THAT ON TODAYS BEARS??? HELL NO. NO PRIDE, NO ATTITUDE, NO CHIP ON THE SHOULDERS, LACK WILL POWER TO MOVE THEIR OPPONENTS, AND LACK MOST CHARACTERISTIC WINNING ATTITUDE. COMPARE NAGY'S 1ST YEAR Vs. 2nd SEASON. EVALUATE THE TEAM'S SPIRIT & ATTITUDE BOTH YEARS, AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN. THE ENERGY SIMPLY WAS NOT THE SAME. WAS IT ALL TRUBISKY'S FAULT??? ALTHOUGH I BLAME MITCH FOR MISSING SO MANY OPEN GUYS DOWN THE FIELD, OVERTHROWING THEM, HOLDING UNTO THE BALL TOO LONG, THROWING AWAY PASSES, NOT SEEING THE WHOLE FIELD WELL, ETC. FOR THESE REASONS, I BELIEVE FOLES WILL WIN THE JOB. THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT YOU JUST CAN'T TEACH AT THE FASTER PACED PRO LEVEL. MITCH HAS NOT SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITIONED FROM COLLEGE PLAY. HE WILL NEED THE REST, TO SIT, WATCH, LEARN, AND ASSIMILATE.
Re FOLES, AND QUINN DEALS? TIME WILL TELL. GRAHAM DEAL? I AM LESS OPTIMISTIC, UNLESS THE COACHING STAFF USE HIM VERY CREATIVELY, AND WISELY, ESPECIALLY INSIDE THE 10 YARD RED ZONE. IT IS EITHER GOING TO BE GOLD, OR A BUST. NAGY MUST IMPROVE HIS PERSONNEL MATCH UPS, LIKE CHESS PIECES during a game, or he will struggle. HE MUST BE OPEN MINDED TO MAKE CHANGES AS THE GAME PROGRESSES. OPEN MINDED TO LET HIS COORDINATORS HELP WITH PLAY CALLS. KILL THE EGO MATT. IT'S A TEAM SPORTS. YOU HAVE BECOME TOO PREDICTABLE, ALLOWING TEAMS TO STUFF YOUR PLAYS IN 2019.

I don't care if they brought back Sid Luckman. Until they address the O line nothing will happen with the offence.
Bears cant run the ball because the line cant move the defense. They have to go to passing mode. Defense is playing pass defense.
We play into their hand and blame the QB. To be honest, I don't know if Trubiskey can be the NFL QB we all hoped for.
We will probably find out when he hooks up with a team with a good O line.

Horrible move. If he sucks, like last year, the bears own him for 3 years. If he plays well, he will opt out after the 1st year. Its kind of a lose lose. Exactly how is Pace still employed? The only positive thing is that the fourth round pick we lose will not be cut next year.

    Solid B.

Foles is best with a capable O-line, a good system and a healthy arm. Good things will happen here.

  • Shamrock - 6 years ago

I'd say a solid B. If you think about the fact that there maybe no OTA's at all this upcoming season this would of really been the only move the Bears could make. Foles has played in this system before. You can't bring someone in that has zero experience in this system, no familiarity with the playbook at all and then the first time you can get with coaches is day 1 of training camp.

  • Neil Allen - 6 years ago

Originally I was at a D, but I moved to a B after realizing we have a better backup that knows - REALLY KNOWS the system.

  • Maggot - 6 years ago

    Yawn!!!

  • Tony H. - 6 years ago

I'm not saying that this move is a home run, but let's try to put it in perspective. Does ANYONE know if Ryan Pace tried to get Cam Newton & if so, what's the price for him? Just MAYBE the price is too high; Nick Foles for ONLY a 4th round pick? Not great, but not bad either.....just saying!
