720 camera on Air is a HUGE disappointment. Will pass for now. Come on Apple...

Looks like iPad buyers over MBA buyers by 4:1 ratio, despite how good the new MBA is. That’s disappointing for this of us who want a thriving, advancing laptop market

None of them! This is bullshit. I love the new devices but I will not buy them. Firstly - MBA - I will be getting MBP, new one. Secondly I would not buy this pro iPad. I love ipad form factor, I have 3 at home, but this is getting ridiculous. It should be prised 300-400, because it is just becoming a crazy fast remote client. Hardware is amazing, but all the serious software on the iPad is subscription based! This is stupid. You buy 1000+ devise and the spend 500 each year just to rent the software. We wanted isolated iDevises and we got that. But now it is not possible to buy pro ipad and all the software and be done with it. No! You need to upadate it daily, and pay rent just to use the features that you bought iPad for. So no, I will never buy PRO iPad. F*ck the new developer business model.

I’m an owner of an iPad Air, and I love it. The new iPad Pro seems pretty cool with the new features. However, considering the current state of the coronavirus and economy, I think it would be very beneficial to all if the starting prices were reduced. Reduced prices in this current state could increase your customer base, as well as help jump start the economy. I’d love to purchase one, but your prices are too high.

I'm waiting for the scissor keyboard 14" Mac Pro. Meanwhile, I have been hoping for years that Apple would build a MacBook Pro chassis with a cutout that an iPad could snap into and become the display. When snapped in, I am using MacOS and when unsnapped I use iOS. Why am I forced to carry 2 expensive displays around all the time?

I'm still in the camp of combining iPads with Mac OS. We're fortunate to have majority of Apple's product lines at home. If i need the hybrid approach, i grab my Surface and sigh.

The MacBook Air still has a 720p camera and 802.11 ac WiFi while the new iPad is now on 802.11 ax WiFi
And there is still no 5G support.
The other improvements are great but the connectivity hold me back to buy a new device.

It says on their website that the Magic Keyboard is available for the previous generation iPad Pro, I wish there was an option for just the Magic Keyboard

If Apple will not allow apps for serious keyboard users like (Typinator, Text Mate)-keyboard will be just nice looking gadget. I'm working with keyboard 10-12h/day and I need to have possibility to use advanced keyboard macros.

AU$589 for the 12.9 magic keyboard? Hell no, I won’t be buying that. The Brydge version is more than AU$200 cheaper.

I just want an iPad Mini in the same form factor as the iPad Pro with minimal bezels. That is what I will buy if they ever come out.
