I say throw the book at they asses as an example to the other idiots who think this shit is funny. Stick em in a storage container for a day and throw ALL the fines at them because it is not computing for people just how serious this is. I'm mad AF that we have to share the Earth with these mfs. I live in one of the 5 states that have yet to issue some kind of "stay-at-home order" (Nebraska - red state) & Rod was right that the relaxed attitude of our "leaders" trickles down to all these goddamn idiots. I was in Walmart last weekend getting supplies for the C-poc and walked past a woman & her husband - the woman had one hand on the shelf and the other hand IN HER MOUTH, biting her nails as she decided on the right candle. Meanwhile, her husband stood behind her hacking up a storm and NOT EVEN COVERING HIS MOUTH! And yes, they were. I made a u-turn so goddamn fast, found my husband and told him "I hate it here & I wanna go home NOW". We're both immunocompromised. Basically, Trump don't care, so our governor don't care, so the people don't care & think everything is fine & overblown. I'm thankful my job had the good sense to send people home, and my kids are out of school until AT LEAST August. This is not a drill niggas, & you dont need a close friend or relative to die to understand the seriousness

You guys really touched on something that I noticed a while ago when you were saying that a lot of people with “essential jobs” are black, and that’s leading to it spreading in our communities.
I have autoimmune issues that would mean the end of me if anyone dragged La LlaRONA home and passed it to me, so our entire family has been self isolating since 3.11.
I noticed a couple of weeks ago that MOST of our delivery drivers have been black.
This hurts my heart, because I know that these are people that have been laid off or furloughed from work, so the gig economy is a great way to keep bringing in money.
Yes, our family is privileged, because my husband is able to work from home and hasn’t been laid off (yet), we also have money in savings that allows us to not need to go out ourselves, or send our college-aged kids out to look for work.
What I’ve been doing is trying to share the wealth with healthier tips, in hopes that the drivers can ease up a bit on their exposure.
I say alllllll of that to say, this is a disease that is going to impact our less fortunate people (ie, people of color) the hardest.
Because of capitalism, more people are going to die than necessary. This system only gives access to people who can AFFORD it, not necessarily the people who NEED it. I’m hoping that our country comes out of this on the other end with our eyes more open to options that will protect our citizens a lot better than we have.

I think they should be heavily fined. Arresting them just increases the possible exposure to first responders. I suppose it depends on how they’re making the threat. But a heavy fine over arresting if possible.

That is a biologcal terrorist threat as far as I cam concerned. The lady that made a grocery store throw out $36,000.00 of produce by coughing on it should have been arrested, fined and the grocery store sue her stupid ass.

Just give them a fine. Jails and prisons are in a pandemic a death sentence for many (the virus can spread very effectively there). They are being very heartless to use the rona for a hoax, but I still don’t want them to die from the rona.
