Should Chargers trade CB Desmond King?

I would trade King and. 4 for the all-pro LT Trent Willians and a 2. This would almost shore up our OL into a good one from the league’s worst. As good as King is he has been replaced by an even better player in Harris.

In the draft the ONKY quarterbacks I’d take t 6 would be either Burrow or Tua. I’d ND ER take any other QB at 6. NEVER! At 6 I’d take, in order: Simmons, Jeudy or Okuda. Actually I love in order the WRs Jeudy, Lsmb and Ruggs. I wound NOT take Behkti at 6. Never. He’s only the 5th best OT in his draft no matter how fast he is. An OT that rubs fast in a 40 yard dash is about useless. It means almost nothing.

Depending upon who I took in round one obviously determines the next rounds. In my perfect draft this is how it goes:

1: Burrow or Tua, if not available then LB Simmons, WR Jeudy or CB Okuda
2: Hurts if I couldn’t get Burrow or Tua in the first
    3: best WR or LT
    4: best WR or LT
    5: LB Logan Wilson
    6: CB
    7: BIG RB

I’d LOVE to get TE Harrison Bryant somehow.

Only do it for Williams. Our D is stacked. We need the O-line to get to the same level. It's a risk if there's an injury in the secondary. But adding Williams would at least offset King and maybe more.

Why would you trade a young ascending player just because we’ve sign a veteran to add to what it’s a pretty stacked defense. We did lose Adrian Phillips who played everywhere for us so it does leave a hole that King looks primed to fill while Harris locks down the slot and Hayward left to take on WR1 we still have to see where Nasir Adderley fits if he’s gonna push Jenkins some more or add some needed depth. So ideally we have our defense if we can add a playmaker at linebacker in the draft and focus the rest of our draft on the other side of the ball. In my perfect world Chargers get lucky and snag Tua in the first round add in a WR and LT maybe a late round RB and I’d say our future looks bright. If we strike out on the Tua sweepstakes don’t take a QB at 6 I just don’t feel the other QBs have the draw that Tua or Burrow will have in this league not saying Love or Herbert won’t be good QBs in the league they could be great you never know but the Chargers don’t need a QB that can’t draw in fans just look at how the nation has been take over by both Tua and Burrow. They have both shown they can handle the weight of everyone watching waiting for them to fail and both have come up big in those moments. Herbert was once considered to be the #1 overall pick just go quietly by season by season never really making a splash that many expected and Love is being compared to Mahomes because he has a strong arm but just because you have a strong arm doesn’t make you a great QB one Mahomes went to a great team already stacked with talent and one of the greatest coaches in the league and two was hindered mostly in college due to going to a college not considered a nfl factory machine and in my opinion poor coaching once he was properly coached and put in the right system he as we all have seen took off like the rocket arm he has. If the Charger do select a QB this year there’s only two options that will see the Chargers adding more fan to their empty stands and hopefully set them up for years of success if groomed and surrounded properly. Those two QBs would be whatever former Alabama QB is available to them at the right pick. Tua preferably if he slide to us at 6 or if we don’t have to give up too much in draft capital a trade up. If Tua is gone take best player available LT or LB/defensive playmaker or trade back get more ammo for next year and fill some holes this year at LT, LB, WR3,RB. If we have to take a QB this year and Tua is gone Hurts is the next best option fits the mold Coach Lynn is looking for and has the talent to be the next Dak/Murray/Wilson type QB. Chargers would be smart to look at Hurts in the second or third round all he has done is win while in college and proved to everyone he didn’t need Saban to succeed. Tua may have the stronger arm but Hurts is probably the better athlete and with the league heading to Michael Vick’s dream league the Chargers need an athlete at QB we loved Rivers but are tired of watching the slowest person on the field be our QB we need a QB that’s gonna bring fans to their feet with excitement and a QB that’s gonna have the personality to survive in LA unless the Chargers make everyone happy and return to SD there’s no QB that’s gonna survive that market unless they’ve been under the microscope like the two former QBs from Alabama. Please chargers don’t force it remember Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields are right around the corner too so if we miss the best options this year we have Tyrod or could bring in Cam if his health is good we need a STAR at QB I believe in our staff we’ve had a great offseason so far let keep it up

Yeah honestly I don’t know why we would trade him because he’s really good & we aren’t paying him very much plus our team always needs depth because we are so injury prone

Why would you trade him ?? He’s great in returns and even better on defense
