Twenty-four inches is too small for my old eyes - even thirty can seem small when using Photoshop. The processor doesn't matter to me as long as the graphics card is good and lots of memory is available.

I want a total redesign. I don't care about anything else until that happens.

How will virtulalization work? This is a big part of the future. How will an ARM processor Virtualize a PC/Linux or other non Apple environment? If Arm's abandon the ability to do bootcamp and virtualization that may be a big step back for me. It's not just about speed - it's also about compatibility with the rest of the planet..

I’d love a 23”, thin iMac, but only with an Intel chip. I wish the pill had that option. I use bootcamp constantly and losing the ability to run “everything” on my Mac is a huge setback I’m not willing to accept without substantively notable gains in some way that matters to everyday use.

I run bootcamp and that’s critical.

I’d buy an iMac only if it had Face ID

Still using my 08, 24"iMac. Recent upgraded to a 2TSSD drive, and still works great. I am due for a upgrade.

I would seriously consider it, with an Intel processor. I love my iPhone and our iPads, but the compatibility is important.

What’s wrong with a 24” machine? Even though I can no longer update my late 2007 24” iMAC, it still just keeps plugging along. The screen size is just right for me. I refuse to go smaller. I might consider a 23”, but, I’d have to lay hands on it in person first. And it better have a whole lot of bells and whistles with a more reasonable price range.
