So sorry this has ended. I was a faithful viewer. There are many other shows that could have ended. I'm really going to miss God Friended Me.

  • Jean Vilardi - 4 years ago

one of the best shows ever made. No violence and having God in the title was great. The stories are so good. It makes a person feel great to know there's a lot of good people in this world. What is more proof- its this virus showing how great people really are. God Bless all!

  • Jenny Merrill-Foster - 4 years ago

This is a great show please do not cancel it.

  • Mary Beth Coluccio - 4 years ago

We need more feel good shows,we also need to be more loving ,and kind to one another. This was a great show sorry to see it end .

  • Tamara - 4 years ago

Really great show. Hope you consider renewing for another season. We really need more "feel good" inspirational shows.

  • Greg Jones - 4 years ago

It had to go. Corporate greedy executives needed to get rid of God friended me so that they had room to add another show about guns and sex and violence. They don't want to fill their roster with a pesky show about love and God and helping other people. The liberal media will have none of that. I hope people wake up and see the liberal media for what they are.

  • Corinne - 4 years ago

Please bring it back..I have watched every single episode and am very upset that it ended. Why do they always end the best shows.

  • Doris - 4 years ago

I have watched every single episode of this show. It is the only show that did not have violence, but a more spiritual vision of real life and life's everyday human issues. I am very disappointed that it was cancelled. At this moment of chaos and uncertainty, it was a relief and a wonderful escape from a world where deceit, money and lies are the most important, into a real world where love, faith, giving and good will were the aim.
Wish you would bring it back!

I truly love this show. I look forward to it every week. It is a refreshing show away from the violence and hatred in the world and on the screen. A nice break from the fake reality shows. And the meaning of faith is brought out without forcing religion. I love all the actors and really hope this is not the end ????

  • Rosemarie G - 4 years ago

I am sooo disappointed that this uplifting, heartwarming show was cancelled. In a world filled with fear, anger and uncertainty, this was a true escape. I will miss it terribly and hope that one of the other networks picks it up. They can’t all have no faith in humanity.

  • Judy Beardsley - 4 years ago

Really enjoyed this show-there isn't a show like this and it should not have been cancelled--Love all of the actors Shame on CBS!!!!!

  • Didi - 4 years ago

This is one of the best shows on TV. Can't believe it was cancelled. I hope a way will be found for it to return.

  • Doreen Ethier Cormier - 4 years ago

I’m so sad the series was canceled. When is one of the only feel good l programs that I’ve found. Thoroughly enjoyed it hopefully another network will pick it up.
    Nice job, so appreciated!

  • Linda - 4 years ago

Am sad to hear it is not longer going to be on. It was a show that resonated with me on so many levels as I, too, struggle with faith & believing in God. I was hoping after the finale that we would find out who "She" was next year but I guess it is up to us to finish the story & try to live helping others as Miles, Kara and Raskesh did. Wish there were more shows like that on TV.

  • Mary - 4 years ago

It is a shame that decent shows are cancelled while the garbage shows continue for seasons on end. This was indeed a feel good show but of course, CBS does not seem to be interested in positivity.

  • Anne - 4 years ago

I loved the ending...a little Buddhist boy showing Miles a new way. Awesome! It was not just about Christian faith but ended up being about faith in oneself and to continue to follow the spirital path to find the answers one seeks. Love it!! So sorry it will not be continued along this path.

  • Carol Rose - 4 years ago

WHY are such excellent shows cancelled before their time? The world needs now, more than ever, a TV show that inspires and motivates people for the good of mankind. Please reconsider and let the God Account continue! Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Be creative and move forward!!

  • Sue Kittle - 4 years ago

Absolutely loved this show! Sooo disappointed it won't be returning.
I am hoping like others that Hallmark, Netflix or Fox will continue on with season 3. I am not sure how I would have ended the series, but I don't like the fact we were left hanging.
Kudos to the writers for such a spiritual uplifting show. Loved it❤️????

  • Karen Davis - 4 years ago

So sad to see this show end. The storyline was so positive and wholesome something we need more of in this "reality" world. Guess I"ll start getting more sleep on Sunday nights ???? My take on the finale was that Miles died and the little girl (an angel) was leading him to his mom where she was waiting for him in heaven. Guess I was way off!

  • Nancy - 4 years ago

I loved this show. Brandon is such a great actor & a joy to watch. A good family show. Why did it not get renewed? Please bring it back. Thank you

  • Chris Robinson - 4 years ago

Please help me understand why this show was cancelled.

    Very unfortunate!????????

  • Jr - 4 years ago

I was hooked from the 1st episode. It reminded me of shows like highway to heaven, touched by an Angel and Eli Stone. They aren’t just feel good shows. They are shows that show and remind us that we should all be kinder, respect, love and help to each other. It’s about Faith!! One of the 10 Commandments is to Love they neighbor.

With all that is happening in the world now, the Violence, Hate, Dishonesty why does it take a crisis for all of us to want got help and appreciate each other. That should be us all the time. As for the ending of this show it was great I think a better one would have just him at the mountain and we see him being grated by someone (off camera) no voice just him smiling and walking towards that. Leaving it open to our own as to who was behind it and open to future episodes or movie if there are chances of it reviving the show. Never say never. Lots of shows have returned. Maybe even by a steaming network like Netflix. Hulu amazon etc...

  • Chuck Harp - 4 years ago

It is such a shame that such a up lifting and great show like this had to end. At this time with the world dealing with such sickness and death, it was a outlet for so many to watch this uplifting show every Sunday. Hopefully another channel will pick it up and the journey will continue. Thank you to the writers and the AWESOME cast. God bless and be safe!

  • Brenda Meyers - 4 years ago

My husband and I look forward watching this on Sundays. The ending was FANTASTIC but I hope it will continue in the near future. We don’t have enough of these shows. A show like this doesn’t come along to often. I really hope there is a SEASON 3. We’d like to see more shows that are uplifting like this PLEASE!

  • Dave Kertesz - 4 years ago

I thought the show was great! My wife and I looked forward to watching it every week. It was a feel good show with a terrific spiritual balance to it. It wasn't overpowering, and was a show that could make someone who is not "born again" think, and maybe open up their heart for the possibility there is something more. Loved the show, hope it gets picked up by another network...

  • Jane Stewart - 4 years ago

My husband and I both looked forward each week to watching this show. Why would CBS cancel. World needs a feel good show especially right now.

  • Laura tomko - 4 years ago

Loved this show, looked forward every week to watching it. Hope another network picks it up.

  • Bruce - 4 years ago

At a time when we really need something to lift our spirits and enjoyable to watch, you brought us this show. It is a winner and if possible, bring it back. A rare combination, writers, actors ,directing --- it has it all to be a long run, beloved series. It has been our favorite weekly show from the beginning. Thank you so much !! Between the politics and the virus, this has been a " God send ". Thanks.

  • Nikki - 4 years ago

I hope when the virus is over that you'll can start on season 3 because this show should me that I have faith and everything going to be alright it made me and my and cousin cry
And we sit down every Sunday ready to see what's going to happen next

  • Frances Nochera - 4 years ago

Looved the show.. always soo positive and uplifting!! ... but the ending left me cold and confused!

  • Rita Schulze - 4 years ago

Really sad to see the show cancelled. It is one of the few shows that families can watch together. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • Donna Diller - 4 years ago

I am so saddened and angry at the same time. WHY would CBS not renew a great show like God Friended Me!?!!! My husband and I love that show and looked forward to it on Sunday nights. I love the characters as well as the stories. So sad to take off a "feels good" show.
I am still upset with CBS for taking off Madam Secretary and Hawaii Five-O as well. If Blue Bloods goes off, I'm going to start watching a different network!
Final note: Please bring this show back. We need a good family show that gives us hope.

  • Zakia Sardinea - 4 years ago

God friended me was my favorite show. I literally loved watching the show. It's so sad to see it end. But seriously? We couldn't even find out who "she" is. ???????????????????? Y'all at least could have showed us that as an ending but I get it. the show was based upon the fact that anyone's faith and trust in God could be restored even an atheist like miles.

  • Pam - 4 years ago

Sad to see my favorite Sunday evening show end. Looked forward to each new episode & was never disappointed. Nothing else quite like it on TV. Thanks for a great show with wonderful actors & photography.

  • Anne Marie - 4 years ago

God Friended Me is the best show of my life! Please, please, please keep on writing, producing, and casting this incredible show of hope, love and family. We need this epic show now more than ever. You have such possibilities for the next season!!!
I will pray that it continues! #CBS are you listening? Keep the positive please!

  • Winifred - 4 years ago

I loved the show. I'm glad it ended this way though so soon. I had an awesome time. Wish I could see Cara and Miles love life together though. But I hate the fact that she use to be so adamant to the idea that she no longer loved Miles. But its all good. I love the cast and crew of God friended me for ever. Cheers

  • Sharon Brooks - 4 years ago

I loved this show. It was the perfect show for a Sunday night, the idea of people really caring about others and going out of their way to help others. What a novel idea! I'm being sarcastic. It's what we all need. I thought the finale was a bit rushed...as I'm sure it was when CBS decided to cancel it. I wish they hadn't. We need these kind of shows and less Cop shows, hospital shows...blah blah blah. Anyway. So much for the perfect end to a weekend show. Thanks for it though.

  • Faithless - 4 years ago

Your show gave me faith. Not in God but in a good whokesome TV Show. I always knew how it was gonna end but had FAITH the the writers wouldnt be ao F'ing lazy to put out this garbage no ending crap. It didnt work in 2001 'the movie' and this self interpertation bit doesnt work here. Then to cram the Feminatzi gay bull down our throats making a trans priest & that 'She is waiting for you in at the end' turns my stomach. Im kinda glad this show is dead and Im Liberal but every show is doin it & Im sick of it. Burn in Hell you lazy green haired trans cuck agenda propogandists & realize that what u do is now the norm and your not new ur a follower of a cult that lets the 1%rs to tell u what to do. Scre u, ur show, ur ending, ur family & friends. Thank you and be safe out there! May Lucifer bless ur souls!

  • Siobhan Lewis - 4 years ago

My favorite show I always looked forward to. Please don't let it seriously be a goner. God friended me is a winner regardless what "agenda craved" people think or say. I need more of this show. I hope those of us who have voiced our love for this show will be heard. There's still more to be answered. A season 3 should definitely come back and grace our televisions. So sad and disappointing to have it go..... SEASON 3 PLEASE!

  • Martha Hykel - 4 years ago

Shame shame on you greedy selfish writers..producers...directors.
Get some of us to buy into your NEW SHOWS..then string us along for a couple seasons ..then some idiotic LAME group of so called intelligent people decide to pull it off air at last minute for whatever SELFISH reasons you IDIOTS came up with. Then you Extremely selfish writers ( so called ) think its appropriate to just let us decide who She is????
Im never watching another NEW PILOT AGAIN so you jerks can't do it to me one more time.
I will just stick with old reruns of more intelligent writers like who wrote Andy Griffith or oldies like
    the Waltons.
YOU are all sickening the way you all play us for fools and dangle carrots in front of us for YEARS...Then just pull the rug out like its nothing.
Whatever idiot or group of idiots canceled this and also the group who ended it that way..I hope you never write another winning show because you do not deserve to.
You need to GO LOOK at the line up of stupid story lines of most of the crap on T. V.
The violence and all of the story lines that never go. Anywhere ..and then you cancel OUR show.
Hey Idiots..Go get your last Paycheck.
    YOU canceled
    A hit.
    But you dont care.
    Its happened so many times.
    Im done.
Im sad there isnt any honest channels anymore either.
Never watching your flaky channel again.

  • cfb - 4 years ago

invested 2 years only to not get an answer!!! Don"t want to have my own idea, wanted an answer!!!!

  • Lynn Barboza - 4 years ago

I loved the show and wish it could continue. I was so disappointed in the ending. My feeling is the only way Miles is going to see God or his Mother is if he dies or if he's dreaming. I'm so sad.

  • Maryanne - 4 years ago

Im not ready to say goodbye!!????????

  • Amy - 4 years ago

My whole family looked forward to watching God Friended Me every Sunday night. It was clean, positive and a show about love and hope for people of all ages. So very sad it came to an end. We are hopeful that when covid 19 is over, the studio will bring this "A" show back to life. We could all use a weekly reminder of the love and togetherness this show provided!

  • Lynette Johnson - 4 years ago

The finale of season two ‘God Friended Me’, was a Great finale!! Anxious for a “peek” at the coming season three in the fall, I read what the writer’s had to say about the show being cancelled instead! I was so very disappointed!! That is when I voted “Failed” because my anticipation for next season was blown out of the water!! TV programs anymore, leave me empty inside, but the program “God Friended Me” gave me the Hope that so many of us are craving! these days!! With what the World is offering us lately, with the disgusting programming; the killings, sexual immorality, and the list goes on and on, leaves many of us frustrated at best!! The fact that the show was axed because of losing viewers because, for whatever reason, viewers lose interest or are bored, continues to tell me that “some people” still have the disgusting mindset that keeps us in this worldly mode we’ve been in for so long! There are very few programs that our household wants to watch anymore because of the poor content!! Even though there seems to be “fewer viewers” that like the wholesome family oriented programming, unfortunately, wholesome shows we like to watch get cancelled first!! It’s very disheartening to me and my Family! So, I failed your Finale, not because it wasn’t great, but because of my overwhelming disappointment that those of us who want this kind of wholesome programming,“Our Voice” just never seams to matter!????

  • Fred - 4 years ago

    Disappointing the series
    Ended.

  • Bev - 4 years ago

The fact that such a remarkable show is ending breaks my heart especially when we are looking for uplifting moments to live in these crazy Covid 19 times. I have loved this show and it's very devastating that shows like this are cancelled and so many other inappropriate shows stay on. Sensationalism out weighs good and loving shows, and that society has turned to this. Good luck to all the actors, they were fantastic and deserved better.

  • S Boecker - 4 years ago

    Loved this show!
One of the best on TV! So sad this family show with such positive storylines is being cancelled! Any chance for a RETURN ?
    ( A great Final episode,
but left fans wanting to follow Max on his journey & find out what was next?

  • Arlene - 4 years ago

I’m sorry to see the show go. It was nice seeing a show with no violence but, it provided a show about hope and connection something you don’t see nowadays. I hope somebody picks to show up it would be a shame to see it disappear.

  • Cynthia A. Suarez - 4 years ago

Really love this show! Very disappointed that this was the finale. Always looked forward to these stories and the presentation of the great capacity humans have for helping others. Just what we need in times like these.

  • Diana - 4 years ago

  • Janice Rosenbloom - 4 years ago

I am surprised and saddened that this quality show has been cancelled. It is my favorite show on television. I will miss the good feelings that come from it and am sure others will, too. It would be great if someone would do something to bring it back.

  • Debbie Senger - 4 years ago

There are very few shows that give us hope faith love and kindness these days
It made me and my husband feel good every Sunday
We will miss God Friended me ! I am so sad it is over . I hope that someone else will pick up the show and bring us back the whole gang ! I’m not religious or a non believer I’m very spiritual in my life and walk many paths . This was a path I lived very much please please please bring it back . Faith ♥️

  • VICIOUS49ER - 4 years ago

Felt the ending was divergent and low budget. Throughout the show miles always received a friend suggestion and his question was why and he always found out why. Now his question was who is behind the GOD account and no one found out who. Writers probably didn’t and couldn’t find the time so they left it for the viewers to figure out. GOD is who ever you want it to be , she , he , it or ? . Bad ending

  • Nina Woods - 4 years ago

I have enjoyed this show since the first episode. I am heartbroken that it has come to an end. It is really hard to find a show that is without violence and especially during our current world situation, the pandemic, a show speaking of caring and looking out for each other is needed more than ever. This is and will be a light in the network shows to show the way of how a show can be and I hope that producers and the "power that be" realizes that and allows production to continue!!!! Thank you again for the story lines and the hope you gave to ALL of it's loyal watchers.

  • William Rhoades - 4 years ago

Really gonna miss god friended me show, my favorite

  • Judy - 4 years ago

Excellent show!! We look forward to seeing it every week. PLEASE bring it back for Season 3!!

  • John - 4 years ago

GFM is what we need especially now.. HALLMARK OR NETFLIX PLEASE PICK UP THIS SERIES

  • Darlene - 4 years ago

Fabulous writers, producers, and actors. It its the ONLY show I record to watch weekly so I don't miss an episode!!!! I set my recording for 15 min. after the end of the show to be sure I don't miss the end. With all of the vitriol in the news, sit coms, snarky late night and violent TV shows, it is refreshing to be able to watch a show that is positive, and uplifting! I truly hope and pray there will be another season.

  • Mark Quick - 4 years ago

I can not believe you cancled God friend me.

  • Susan Stewart - 4 years ago

I can believe you guys cancelled this show with all the horrible shows that stay on the air and aren't family friendly and I won't be watching the movies in this time slot, real bummer.

  • Jan - 4 years ago

My family loved watching this show every week. We liked the fact that there doesn't have to be violence to make a good show. We also liked that it showed how we affect other people without always knowing it.

  • Alan Levine - 4 years ago

Ending was terrible; no answer to who was behind God account; reminded me of horrible ending of the Sopranos.

  • Jim - 4 years ago

My wife and I are so sad to learn that the show had been cancelled. We looked forward to watching it every Sun. evening. The actors and actresses were outstanding, good clean, wholesome show. We truly hope CBS will reconsider and bring the show back or another network pick up God Friended Me!

  • Pete N - 4 years ago

Thank you for this article, which brings many loose ends together. I have enjoyed and looked forward to it ever since I saw episode three. I watched episodes one and two on-demand and haven't missed any of the others. Hopefully it will be renewed or picked up by another network. It was a feel-good show which is something that we need more of. Again thank you for the show and you'll be missed.

  • E - 4 years ago

I loved the show and am so very sorry that it ended!! Now, more that ever before, the world NEEDS a show like this that is inspiring, uplifting and gives us HOPE!!!

  • Mary - 4 years ago

    I loved every show.
Always commented on what a awesome job the writers did coming up with and tying together the storylines.
I hate to see it go. It was the only show our whole family would watch together every week.
Excellent writers, Actors and clean storylines.
Right up to the end... a little disappointing, but I get it..Brilliant way to end it. Would also leave a good place to start season 3... If only..
Thank you for 2 Great seasons!!!!

  • Maree - 4 years ago

I already posted a message but I have to say...
If ratings dropped I can’t help but wonder if it wasn’t due to 60 minutes so often overlapping into God Friended Me time slot,
I know I found it very annoying, I would set my DVR every week and many times I missed the ending. Because it went beyond alloyed time.
We need shows like this for Families to watch.
    PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

  • Mildred Ratcliffe - 4 years ago

One of the best series I’ve ever seen. It is really sad it’s over. I would look forward to it every Sunday night
We need more of this kind of uplifting, non-violent and positive reinforcement values back in our lives. Please more!!!

  • Brenda - 4 years ago

This was the only show that I actually looked forward to every week. And now, with so much sorrow, pain, and loneliness in our current situation, I believe we need this show more than ever. Please consider bringing it back, or at least another uplifting show such as this.

  • Rose Case - 4 years ago

Truly will miss this show. My 15 year old daughter and I watched this show together every Sunday night. Please Please bring it back, the openly talk about faith and God truly is awesome and need more shows like this!!!

  • Michelle Sloan - 4 years ago

Loved the series great writers. I've talked about shows in my youth and how they would inspire us to hope for the good and it never cost a thing.
You reminded us that it's still possible and not a fable.
And most of all to wonder if God exist is a step towards an answer.
    Blessings

  • Paula Girard - 4 years ago

We loved being uplifted by your show every week. A show that openly talks about God and the Bible and faith is very difficult to find. The shows message rang loud and clear every week......loving people and helping them truly makes a difference. Thank you for reminding us of this for 42 wonderful weeks. God bless you all.

  • Rosa - 4 years ago

I really enjoy this show with my family. I do believe in miracles, I have faith and love the goodness of people in this show. I like that people do have all sorts of problems, but there is always someone who may help, it could be a messenger of God. Please continue this show!

  • Paula - 4 years ago

It really hasn't been another show like this with the exception of Touched by an Angel and Little House on the Prairie they are far and few between it seems that the good shows always seem to get cancelled on the violent shows get to stay on and on forever I am really sorry to see this end. God bless you and your future endeavors I pray that someday you'll be able to bring this show back at least one feeling good about Humanity and we need that especially now.

  • Kathy Mcg - 4 years ago

I am so disappointed that this show is being cancelled. I look forward to it every week. The actors are wonderful! It’s so refreshing to have such a positive, feel good show family oriented show instead of the usual violent, negative shows that are aired. I hope the network reconsiders or perhaps another network will decide to pick up this amazing show!

  • Tricia - 4 years ago

I'm so sad this show is done. It was wonderful to have an uplifting show to watch every week.

  • Karen Vance - 4 years ago

I loved these characters. This was my husband and I go to show for Sunday night. Such an uplifting show, so nice and no violance

  • Jake - 4 years ago

My wife and I love this show! Hopefully it gets picked up with another network or platform. Television needed a faith related show such as touched by an angel or highway to heaven. Just wish they would have definitely showed Miles reconnecting with his faith in God directly. This ending was meant for a season not a series. Doesn’t tie up enough loose ends.

  • Jane - 4 years ago

I am so sorry to see this show go. Shows that are up lifting are so rare. We need more shows like this not less. It will be missed.

  • Nancy Gretta - 4 years ago

I will miss this show and it’s positive uplifting stories. We can hope if it can’t continue that more shows of like positive stories and of the same good messages can be on tv .

  • Kathy - 4 years ago

I’m so sad that this show is cancelled for Season 3. I loved watching it every week. There is so much garbage on tv. It was a wholesome show where finally the topic was faith. I will surely miss it.

  • Nancy Gretta - 4 years ago

I will miss this show and it’s positive uplifting stories. We can hope if it can’t continue that more shows of like positive stories and of the same good messages can be on tv .

  • Diane - 4 years ago

Heartbroken. My husband and I look forward to this show all week! I can’t believe it isn’t coming back!!
So disappointed! Please reconsider. We need this type of show on TV!

  • Val - 4 years ago

This was “must see” TV for me every Sunday night. It was a welcome escape to what’s going on in the world today. There are so few shows that don’t have guns and violence in them. This was a show that could be enjoyed by everyone. I truly hope another network picks it up like they did for Brooklyn 99.

  • Eileen - 4 years ago

I would love to see the show come back as it's a type of show we can use in today's world. The actors and writing were excellent every week.

  • Don - 4 years ago

I hope they find a way to bring it back for a season 3. It's nice to watch a feel good show like this without all the guns and violence. This was every good show.

  • Kelly Zeileretts - 4 years ago

  • kim - 4 years ago

Please bring this show back. It had a sense of purity. This was great television a true feel good show. I am so sad that Sundays will never be the same.

  • Judy - 4 years ago

Love this show. Would love to see another season. I was a little disappointed about the finale though. I wanted more, not a cliff hanger unless it can proceed in another season

  • ST - 4 years ago

Amazing show and series. My favorite show that I looked forward to every week. I really hope and pray the show isn’t over, but if it is, thank you to the amazing writers, producers, and actors. Everyone did such a great job. I feel blessed that i and world got to watch this show for the past 2 years. Also, I like the way it ended. The beauty behind God is when we have a relationship with Him. It doesn’t matter what He or “she” looks like, it’s about a relationship with Him. This was such a great show!!!

Loved this show, I'm really going to miss it. It's sad there won't be a season 3. I feel like there could be so many more people to be helped. Great writers and cast. It would be great if another network picked it up to continue it.
