President Trump is reportedly taking hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug that is not proven to treat COVID-19 and may even lead to more health issues. Thoughts?
The president is likely receiving the best medical advice anyone can get. If he's taking it, then it's fine.
Trump said, “What do you have to lose?” Well, since hydroxychloroquine can cause serious heart problems, he stands to lose a lot.
The president can put whatever he wants into his body. My issue is that since he's making this drug more popular, supplies are running short, and the people who need the medicine are not receiving it.
Let me get this straight — instead of wearing a mask and social distancing, our president went straight to taking an experimental COVID treatment, even when he doesn't have the virus? That just doesn't make sense.
The only mistake I think the president made was announcing he was taking the drug. If he didn't do that, this ridiculous debate wouldn't have started.
