Personally, I find it hard to believe it is a good idea to take your hands completely off the wheel on any vehicle. My guess is that soon we will be signing waivers holding car companies harmless in the event of an autonomous vehicle crash with all of the other things we sign when you buy a new car.

Corvette is supposed to be a technology leader, and even Consumer Reports finds Super Cruise superior to all other systems including Tesla's ill-named "Autopilot." GM should be getting this onto every possible platform and crushing the competition--and making us drivers happy.

Yes, adaptive cruise or super cruise belongs in a sports car that is reportedly comfortable for long drives and daily commute.
Super cruise or adaptive cruise control with lane centering would make the trip "comfortable".

Put it on the car and if you want to use it then use it. If you don't then don't. But I'll bet even the ones that don't want it will eventually use it.
