What do you think of the Eden Project plans for Dundee?

A wonderful idea; Dundee is on the up and the Eden Project can only help bring more visitors to the city. The V&A was a great start, and hopefully the Eden Project will continue the good work already in place. Somewhere close to the Tay would be a great choice for its location.

Dopey edan muck? no real jobs for Dundee just waiters cook cleaners, if lucky remember Dundee for Development!! Companies leave 'Dud-dee' all the time its all downhill so go begging for low-end jobs in any capacity how low can they sink!

I cant help but felhis will definately be built on the former Golf Course in Camperdown Park . Was this yhe reason for its closure ? . Im unsure of the laws surrounding land and parks that were donated to The People of Dundee by Jute Mill owners decades ago . Im sure there were many clauses

One of the best places I visited when I was in Cornwall. And they’re were many. A truly wonderful day out. If they can create a version of that here it will be nothing short of wonderful. The only thing may be it ends up being outside of Dundee and in Angus or P&K in order to find the space needed.

I think the waste ground at foundry lane has been needing something done to it for 10s of decades now.

Great idea. Would be nice if some local nature projects could be implemented along side this. Projects such as the national million ponds projects. Dundee only has one pond. A million ponds have been lost in the UK. A few ponds in local parks and also in quieter settings up the sidlaws would do wonders for insects animals and birds.

I think it's a brilliant idea. As with the other commitments, Camperdown House and golf course would be an excellent location. It's accessible both for people in the town and visitors. The adjoining zoo and parkland are complementary, and Templeton Woods are close by. The Botanic Garden is also n that side of town so there maybe some synergy between the two. In all an excellent location for an environmental centre.

My comment is the same as the first one - I love the Eden Project and Camperdown Golf Course would be ideal

I have always admired the Eden Project but it was too difficult to travel the distance but to have one in Dundee would be amazing and my thoughts on location have gone to Camperdown House and surrounding grounds as a perfect location.
