The ending was very disappointing. It left too many loose ends. Did Jacob kill Ben or not? This ending
left me hanging and unfulfilled. The acting was great though.
I would have rathered the series to have followed the book’s ending. The show left us guessing and didn’t really answer questions.Did Jacob kill Ben and Hope? Did Laurie intentionally crash the car? When in the car, at one point Jacob admitted to killing Ben, was that just to shut Laurie up? I felt the acting was great!
The ending was the entire story...changing it ruined everything
This storyline was supposed to be about whether a criminal gene is inherited. The grandfather was a killer, so did his grandson inherit his killer gene.
I read the book and was enthralled about this hypothesis. Unfortunately the tv series totally bungled the ending. In the novel The young girl Jacob met in Mexico was killed which ultimately led to his mom’s decision to have deadly car accident. This explains the premise of the novel. In the TV series the ending does not justify the drastic outcome.
I don’t know why the ending of the novel was butchered.....irt took away from the agony that Jacob’s mom felt. She did what she had to do to prevent her son from becoming a serial killer
I NEED ANSWERS!!
Compared to the book ending, this was ending was truly disappointing. It left one flat, whereas the book ending has haunted me ever since I read it when it was published. Why do a TV series if you are not going to follow the most poignant part of the book?
Awesome series! Leaves you guessing. Drives all kinds of emotions! Very well written and played out! I look forward to another season
I also love Chris Evans. I couldn’t wait to watch episode 8 and there were such great twists but I really need answers! It’s driving me a little nuts. I’m assuming he did it but why?
Love Chris Evans!
