I voted yes because it's hysterical and I'm all about the jokes of life writing themselves. Since I'm Catholic, I will insist that a Reverend or Priest bless the bottle of Pinot Grigio I'm bringing before I drink it. Amen.

Fukk the feet washing. Fukk the kneeling. Stop kneeling. It’s disrespectful and a disgrace. George Floyd died under a knee. What does you talking a knee and looking solemn for for the black community?? Especially when you’re gonna pepper spray and tear gas them anyway. Fukking disgusting and ridiculous.

Listen, white people out here doing way too much. I don't want them washing my feet. I don't want no apologies. I don't want their guilt. I don't want their shame. I don't want them wearing slave chains to feel my pain. I want them check their racist friends, I want them to vote and vote in OUR best interests, I want them to use their privilege to change the world. Be anti-racist like they love rescuing dogs. Use their KAREN POWER to recognize and challenge systematic racism. Talk to the manager of racism, you know. lol. Karens will get shit done. You get want I'm saying. Words without action is just words. Pass me on by with that shit.

Once, I did attend a Thursday church service the day before Good Friday. We washed each other's feet. Jesus was the son of God and was his disciples' teacher, and he washed their feet. It was very humbling to have the pastor wash my feet. I understand the sentiment of those white people, but that's not the action we need.

Why would I trust a white person to wash my feet when they don't wash their own?

All the episodes you put out this week were on point.
The intercepts latest podcast goes into quite a bit of depth and history about prison abolishment and police reform and it's hosted by our favorite from Uncivil Chenjerai Kumanyika. Worth the listen!
Earlier in the week Rod you were talking about how you dont feel creative during this time, boy do I feel you there. I find myself playing more video games then ever to escape this hell we're living in rather than my creative hobby of beading.
Karen the best use I have found for a crown royal bag is for my monthly products when Im on the go. I started using the bags in this manner when I was a bartender years ago. Seems men can't handle seeing feminine products when drunk and since my boss wouldnt let us keep our purses/bags behind the bar with us I had to resort to something inconspicuous and keep it in my tip jar. As a woman who's mother did not bless her with light monthly's I can attest it holds ALL the products.
Anyway great shows this week you two. Thank you for all the wonderful food for thought.
    Sincerely
    Rebecca M
