Employees who are forced to stay out due to possible symptoms don't want to use their own time off nor do they want to go to doc and pay a copay to be able to use FFCRA pay. We are forcing them to use own time off in this case and have added our workers comp clinic and will pay for TeleVisits.

Borges & Associates, LLC is a small boutique law firm. We are fortunate because while one side of our practice was negatively impacted by the lockdown, the other side of our practice became busier. Prior to the lockdown we had purchased new computer equipment and software so that everyone was able to work remotely. There were a few bumps along the way getting everything running smoothly but it got done. The biggest issue was getting my employees paid. So, I ended up going to my local bank and depositing my employees' paychecks directly into their personal accounts. It got me out of the house at least. And during the first week of lockdown, when I had COVID, my husband did the banking on our behalf. All in all we have survived and did obtain a PPP loan

We provide human services. The services we deliver by definition require at least some personal contact, mostly with people who were isolated prior to this pandemic, and who will not seek out help until it is too late for them.
