I thought that it was great because it showed how through time BMO has made his own adventures and it also pictures the effect Finn and Jake had on him as being heroes. also I think that his mission was to go to the planet bubblegum told him to go to, so that he can plant the potatoes or give them to the aliens there to try and start the new life on the other planets as it hints at in the past adventure time episodes.
