    Yes I do use it
    Electronic printable version will do.
    Thank you Mauneen

  • Mia Pienaar - 4 years ago

Nice to have; yet seldom use it... can be in digital form. The only time the physical card worked for me was when I had to show it as evidence, when crossing borders during this lockdown time. Very ironic.????

  • Daniel Van Niekerk - 4 years ago

Yes I do use it, but will use electronic option.

  • Naas (Ignatius) du Plessis - 4 years ago

I'm in agreement with the electronic version. It will work just as good with less material wastage.

  • Brahm - 4 years ago

    Electronic one, Pdf will suit.

  • SUSAN De Jager - 4 years ago

Yes I use it from time to time but agree that an electronic version is a better option

  • Gerd Bolt - 4 years ago

Cards had their use, maybe 3x in the last year. A screenshot on the iPhone will do just as good or better!

  • CALEB LI - 4 years ago

    Yes, I do use it.
But still agree with an electronic option proposal.

  • Izak Barnard - 4 years ago

Would assist Faan’s proposal which is very convenient!!

  • Rufus Viljoen - 4 years ago

I have found the card useful on occasion, but an electronic (pdf) version that could be printed if necessary would serve that purpose equally well, but without any unnecessary waste.

  • Neil F. Strydom - 4 years ago

Electronic/PDF certificate of Registration would probably be most cost-effective.

  • Pieter Jooste - 4 years ago

    Yes, I do use it.

  • shelagh nation - 4 years ago

I suggest that electronic would be much more useful, especially in today's circumstance

  • August C Koch - 4 years ago

A PIA App, which includes an electronic card, could be useful.

  • June Connelly - 4 years ago

I think we can still use the cards but just chip them...then there is no need to reprint new ones every year.
Just update the chip be activiting it every year.

  • Roelof De Jager - 4 years ago

As per Heila Lochner's comment, please look into Privyseal as used by SACQSP & SACPCMP.

  • Karen de Beer - 4 years ago

    I agree- electronic card.

  • gillian holl - 4 years ago

Not eco-friendly. Never use, electronic best!

  • Ivan de la Rey - 4 years ago

I have never used or had to present my card at any event. An electronic version would be fine if necessary.

  • Hanns Bergs - 4 years ago

A total waste of time, energy, plastic etc !
I have never ever had to present your or any other card to any client.
I don't see the point of it all and I simply produce my business card to a client but definitely not a plastic one !!!

  • Mireille Bezuidenhout - 4 years ago

Agree with Annamarie & others - nice to have but an electronic version will be fine.

What Faan said ... and Tienie

  • Arno Koen - 4 years ago

    Cards useful

  • Heila Lochner - 4 years ago

I also think it is nice to have rather than a necessity. Please look into the privyseal certification option?

  • johann basson - 4 years ago

electronic option preferred; maybe someone can design an App which would be cool.

  • Andre Le Roux - 4 years ago

no need ,electronic would be great

  • Tienie van Rooyen - 4 years ago

Faan's proposal is the most sustainable and economical option. A card that can be saved in your Apple Wallet or Android equivalent.
I carry my phone with me everywhere, while seldomly I carry my wallet and even then I travel light, only bank cards.

  • Graeme Faller - 4 years ago

  • Carina Botha - 4 years ago

    Agree with Annamarie.

  • Carin Combrinck - 4 years ago

It's handy to have, but no need to send a new one every year - perhaps only on demand

  • Manus Heunis - 4 years ago

Other bodies that I belong to, email me a soft copy, which I then cut out and laminate. I do think it is nice to have, but as stated, perhaps a soft copy.

  • Camilo Mogni - 4 years ago

I still have the one from 2019

  • Marisa de Swardt - 4 years ago

Perhaps only issue them to newly registered Architects, Candidates etc. and on request to others that would like a new one.

  • Frans de Klerk - 4 years ago

I have never used the card, so don't spend the money if you ask me

  • Heleen Grimsehl-du Toit - 4 years ago
