I got the PCR test on June 26 at INOVA Urgent Care's drive-through testing site in Vienna. They scheduled a time for me and were prepared when I arrived. I just had to show my identification through my unopened car window. After opening my car window when they were ready, they asked me to tilt my head back as they deeply inserted the swab up my nostril and swirled it about for 15 seconds to collect the sample. It was uncomfortable, but bearable. Then it was done--easy peasy. I received my test result three days later by email. I believe that everyone should get tested so that each of us can avoid transmitting the coronavirus.
