Dayton Carlson, Casteel (AZ): He picked up just his second win in XC all-time, doing so in a career PR of 15:26.00 at the Chandler Invitational -- though this victory was much more significant, as he finished in a dead-sprint for the finish and landed a top 25 time nationally.
Parker Wolfe, Cherry Creek (CO): Colorado soil record, course record and a US No. 1. Wolfe achieved all those performance marks after demolishing the Heritage Distance Classic boys field this weekend in 14:30.10.
Ryan Watts, Edwardsville (IL): He was one of three boys under 15 minutes for 3-miles this weekend, landing a PR and US No. 7 effort of 14:53.02 at the Belleville West Invite.
Cormick Logue, Girard (KS): The senior ran the second-fastest 5K of the weekend in 15:17.00, which is also a top 10 performance in Kansas since 2000 and is currently a US No. 11 mark.
William Zegarski, Little Miami (OH): He crossed off another major PR, improving by 16-seconds to win the Little Miami XC Invitational in 15:25.90, which is a US top 25 effort.
Kole Mathison, Carmel (IN): The sophomore landed the third-fastest 5K of the weekend and won the Brown County Eagle Classic in 15:18.30.
Crawford Hope, Homewood (AL): The battle for the honor of Alabama's top runner began in earnest this weekend, with Hope winning a head-to-head against Class 7A defending champ Ethan Strand in 15:20.75 at the Chickasaw Invitational (He competes in Class 6A).
