I think the concept is good but unsure if it will work out the way you want it to.
There is always an inside motive to work in the governments favor.
So I really don't trust the whole thing, but I hope I'm proven wrong.

    I believe it's a waste of time.
When has anyone listened to what we have to say.
They're just going to pick politicians with a cdl.

I think it'll be a waste of time because, I really don't feel like the feds are going to listen to what a group of REAL VETERAN DRIVERS will have to say. Sorry but I think it'll be one of them deals saying well whats your input from a drivers spectrum? Than they can say we got the drivers input but we're going to do it our way anyway. Because even though we've never done the job we feel like we've got this "education" so therefore our way is the better way. It goes right back to the HOS rules. You have drivers out here that just can't drive 7 or 8 hours without having to stop & grab a nap. Or you've slept all night at your delivery location so now you can't sleep the next day when the shipper has you sitting out in their parking lot for the next 14 hours waiting to load, but guess what? According to your trusty ole elog your well rested and able to drive 11 hours to make your delivery 600 miles up the road by 4 am the next morning.
