No change, except for the provision of masks. “My benefits were expanded?” I don’t think so.

Our benefits were 'expanded' because we did not have a formal telework policy prior to COVID. By the end of March we got most of the IT dept working from home with two factor authentication, VPN and disk encryption, and other professional depts that did not have patient care responsibility also went home to work using Citrix and two factor authentication. Subsequently, a new Remote Work Arrangement policy was put into effect by HR for the 'new normal'. In addition, we were all given a bonus check for working from March to June when all heck broke loose at our hospital during the worst of the pandemic. We were constantly revising room and bed assignments, keeping up with three different telehealth rollouts and new regulations and coding changes during that time. So it was nice that leaders rewarded us for the constant state of panic we worked through.

No option for "Not changed". Compensation the same, benefits were expanded with offering of OpenFit and Headspace and free COVID-19 testing.

I would have selected "no appreciable change" had that been an option, but then remembered that we were given additional PTO and one additional holiday so opted to go with "my benefits were expanded".

Clicked decreased compensation significantly only because there was no choice for slightly (10%). I'm not really complaining as I am grateful to be employed and healthy. I find my health is better when I don't watch the news! My light at the end of the tunnel seems to be HIMSS 2021 in Vegas!

As others are commenting, seems odd there's no option for my job not changing. I have worked from home for several years. The only real change I've personally had is that I travel less because everything I would have traveled to has either cancelled or gone virtual. Nothing else has really changed for me (professionally) due to the pandemic.

I also vote for a "no appreciable change" option. I've been remote for an analytics company for several years, but now that the company is 100% remote, work is actually much easier.

“Not much change but some change” that’s my guess for the average answer for many in our industry. Perhaps slightly more than an “average year”. Polls answer choices seem more to grab headlines than to status of the industry. “Not much change” doesn’t seem to make for interesting reading.

An option for my job not changing at all and/or same work but now remote is what applies to me

I voted 'my benefits were expanded' - as I now am working remotely full time which is a great benefit! I do not miss the commute!

This feels like it's one where "My job has not changed appreciably" would have been an interesting addition to the survey.
