Dawson Mayberry, Bentonville (AR): Mayberry earned bragging rights in Arkansas when he won the Chile Pepper XC Festival on Saturday, running a new career best of 15:15.72. He was 63rd in the same race in 2019.
Kamari Miller, Marietta (GA): All he does is win. Kamari rolled for his fifth-straight win, this time coming in the elite race at the Alexander/Asics Invitational in a winning-time and US No. 11 mark of 14:55.02 -- that was his first time under 15 minutes for 5K.
Jaysen Bouwers, Sioux City North (IA): Bouwers put down an insane 5K performance of 15:04.00 in winning the Steve Johnson HS Invitational. That win earned him his third in four tries.
Ben Shearer, The Woodlands (TX): In an incredible-head-to-head matchup, it was Shearer who secured the biggest win of his career at the Desert Twilight Invitational, laying down a US No. 3 time of 14:39.60 -- that mark was also the fastest of the weekend.
Colin Sahlman, Newbury Park (CA): What a debut for Sahlman, who led Newbury Park with a US No. 9 performance of 14:53.67 at the Desert Twilight Invitational to help the Panthers absolutely crush the Club Sweepstakes race.
Javier Vento, Belen Jesuit (FL): Leading the way at the FSU Pre-State Invitational was Vento, who not only scored his fourth win of the season, in a new PB of 15:21.00, but also guided Belen Jesuit to a dominating team title on the state course.
Christopher Daniels, Klein (TX): Daniels took home a win at the Nike South Invitational in 15:26.60, which marked his second win of the season.
