Matt Bogdan, Colts Neck (NJ): The season is underway in New Jersey and Bogdan won his first race with aplomb, hitting 15:24.27 on the clock at the Cougar Invitational Team Challenge.
Joacquael Thorpe, Lyons Township (IL): Thorpe led Lyons Township over Downers Grove North and York in a tough dual, producing a 5K best of 15:24.84.
Joshua Truchon, West Allis Hale (WI): He ran a Wisconsin No. 2 5K time of 15:13.40 at the GMC Varsity Championships, netting another PR in back-to-back weeks.
Tristian Merchant, Anchorage Christian (AK): The Alaskan all-timer won his third-straight ASAA State Division II title, running a meet and state record of 14:51.00 on the Anchorage course. It was his second straight sub-15 performance.
Riley Hough, Hartland (MI): The Michigan athlete ran the fastest time of the weekend and produced a new Michigan No. 1 in winning a tri-meet at Salem in 14:48.40.
Lucas Guerra, Highland (IN): The recent Georgetown recruit won his sixth race of the season, hitting 15:34.90 on the clock at the IHSAA Section at Highland, a nearly 60-second improvement from the same course in 2019.
Evan Caswell, Coppell (TX): Caswell claimed a win at the Coach T Invitational -- formerly Marcus I -- in a season-best time of 15:15.39.
