House Bill 1078 in the Washington Legislature would automatically restore voting rights to felons after they complete their sentence. Thoughts?
If they did the time, then I absolutely agree with the bill — returning to society should mean getting your rights back.
Absolutely not — criminals shouldn't be allowed to vote as payment for their crimes, even after their sentence is complete.
I'm fine with the way the state currently does it — on an individual basis.
This is not an issue I care about.
