I enjoyed this show a lot! I was really looking forward to seeing this and it didn’t disappoint! Sam & Graham are very good together, very entertaining! Can’t wait to see the next episode! ❤️???????????????????????????? My grandparents came from Scotland, so great to see all of this!

  • Doug Henning - 3 years ago

People complaining about length.. please realize there are 8 episodes of this... I suggest you wait a while and binge several at a time... I thought it was the right time per episode... I enjoyed it... Do they really cut open lobsters in Scotland before they are cooked????

  • Suzanna Adreon - 3 years ago

What a great way to see this beautiful country. The "boys", and they really are boys, are having such a super time showing us their wit and humor. I'm learning so much about the people, the food and drink that make Scotland #1 on my trip wish list.

  • Dorothy - 3 years ago

Loved the show! Am of Scots heritage through my 3rd great-grandmorher and have been to Scotland twice now. It's the most beautiful country, especially the Highlands. Can't wait for the next episode with Sam and Graham.

  • Carmen - 3 years ago

Loved the show. What I experienced was how much Sam and Graham love Scotland and are proud of Scotland. Because of their enthusiasm I have become a big fan of Scotland. I am not of Scottish heritage myself but because of Men in Kilts and Outlander I have learned a lot about Scotland and I like what I see. I am so excited about Men in Kilts because I can learn more about Scotland and its people. I can’t wait to travel to Scotland and visit its beauty in person.

  • Bev Sykes - 3 years ago

I loved this show. Everything about it was such fun...and I ended up with a craving for seafood. My husband doesn't like TV and rarely watches it but loved the show as well. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

  • Beth - 3 years ago

Way too short...was really looking forward to it, but I think the book Clanlands covered the material so much better. Felt like they were skipping around...almost like watching a trailer rather than a show. I want this to work for them, but....

  • Eva Jensen - 3 years ago

Loved the show! The visuals are beautiful and Sam and Graham the perfect tour guides. reat fun. Hoping to visit Scotland in July and can't wait for more episodes for the best places to visit. And I agree with everyone else....would love longer episodes.

  • Sandy M - 3 years ago

Watched Men in Kilts with my adult son yesterday. Really enjoyed it as did he. My late husband was Scottish and always wanted to see the country. Sam and Grahams show offers countryside, food, drink and some manual labor. It would be nice to have longer episodes but it wets your whistle just enough to come back next time for more.

  • Kathy McCallum - 3 years ago

i enjoyed this show every bit as much as i thought i would! Sam and Graham did a great job and really brought the fun. They obviously enjoyed the trip and each other's friendship and I'm glad they shared it with us! I w8ouls love a S2 of one hour shows,i want to see some castles and clans!????

  • Melissa - 3 years ago

I’ve already watched episode one a few times, and I can’t wait to see more! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Sam & Graham are great together and so funny. I’m so excited to continue on this journey with them next Sunday.

  • Carmen - 3 years ago

Simply, love it! Too short, but so beautiful, so funny live the landscapes and learning about the beautiful Scotland with these amazing Scottish!Hope we will be able to watch it all over the world, a success for sure

  • Holly - 3 years ago

Thank you.. for introducing Scotland to we Americans. Thank you!

  • AJ - 3 years ago

We've been waiting on this since last binging all Outlander episodes!
We loved it but it definitely needs to be longer. Does feel a tad rushed, but that can he remedied with a longer show :D
Lol! All ages here from 10-41 were watching! Sam & Graham have great chemistry!

  • Jennifer - 3 years ago

Loved it! Just started getting into the show ad it was over. Needs to be 1 hour

  • Sheila - 3 years ago

My only complaint is that it wasn't longer.

  • Jean S Cooper - 3 years ago

Think it needs to be longer than 30 minutes. It felt too rushed.

  • Michele Phelan - 3 years ago

Wonderful beginning. Looking forward to learning more about Scotland. It is helping us map our trip. Of course Sam and Graham are delightfully entertaining

  • Victoria M Vaughn - 3 years ago

So excited was I to start watching, and not once was I disappointed. The cheeky banter is quick and not silly at all. Yes, some sexy suggestions as well, but we're all adults here. Watching these two taste food is pure joy. Love the way Sam demonstrates how much he loved the taste of something. My favorite? So many, but diving into the barley was fun.

  • Kathy Dunn - 3 years ago

I enjoyed the show but way too short ????

  • SHARON KENZLER - 3 years ago

Loved the show and I am looking forward to additional episodes. Great personalities with a strong friendship. I want to go to Scotland. Thank you for developing this series.

  • Nikki - 3 years ago

We loved the show! Wish it was an hour long! Scotland is on my bucket list so it is wonderful to see all of these amazing places that hopefully I will be able to visit one day.

  • Diane Muster - 3 years ago

Loved it! Wish they would do a series even beyond lovely Scotland! Maybe Graham could show Sam and us New Zealand! Brilliant, fun and over too quickly!

  • June - 3 years ago

Loved the show, book and audio version. @SamHeughan and @grahammctavish are hilarious. They should be appointed ambassadors for Scotland!! Please make the episodes longer and expand each segment and please a S2!! @meninkilts ????????????????

  • Michele R. Bradley - 3 years ago

Loved it❣ Wish it were a full hour. Great to see "Dougal" & "Jamie" together again. Made me feel as if I need to add a Scottish venture to my Bucket list.

  • Angela Harhalos - 3 years ago

Really enjoyed it. Great depiction of what is beautiful in Scotland.

  • Deanna Middleton Robinson - 3 years ago

Loved it! Watched it 3 times already. Very enjoyable and it just made me smile seeing them together. Wish it lasted an hr. ????

  • Anne C. Arseneault - 3 years ago

this show was wonderful,I really enjoyed seeing Sam and Graham together, learned a lot about Scotland, especially the whisky business! Looking forward to visiting the places in Edinburgh this fall and sampling some of the local cuisine. Can't wait for more episodes visiting other clans, castles, etc. learning more about the culture and listening to Sam and Graham! THE SHOW WAS A WEE BIT SHORT! I TOLD MY HUSBAND ALL ABOUT IT THIS MORNING AND HE SEEMED INTERESTED! So we might be watching again, I will be anyways!

  • Deb - 3 years ago

Thoroughly enjoyable show! Already a big fan of Outlander so felt like hanging out with Sam and Graham. Loved the banter, scenery, experiences, and learned many things I did not know about Scotland. Thank you for opportunity to hang with some dear friends!

  • Elizabeth Felix - 3 years ago

I loved the show. It was educational, funny, and beautiful scenery. Gives everyone a look at a beautiful country. Sam snd Zgraham were excellent and do funny. I love the way they interact with one another. I was smiling during the whole show. I wish it was an hour long. Please consider that fir next season. Can’t wait fir the next episode. Tbhe guys did an excellent job. Thank you.

  • Anita - 3 years ago

Great show!! Love both Sam and Graham ❤️! Wish the show was a whole hour, thirty minutes just aren’t quite enough. I will be watching every episode tho.

  • Natalie McPherson Ziegler - 3 years ago

Loved it, make it 60 minutes!!!

  • Mary Greenwood - 3 years ago

This show is fantastic! The people Sam & Graham met were so warm and friendly. I didn’t realize how much sea food and whisky is exported! Love the beautiful cinematography and music and the artistic way Scotland culture was presented. The way the poke fun at each other and laugh together, make it easy to learn and remember. What a delightful way to learn about Scotland. Happy trails, indeed!

  • Stella Royce - 3 years ago

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. It’s probably a universal wish that the show should be an hour long. Loved the buddy humor, and all the information on Scottish food and whisky. Can’t wait until episode 2!

  • Dee - 3 years ago

Loved the show, but way too rushed. Couldn't enjoy each segment as I wanted too. Too much activity into one segment. Beautiful scenery, lovely people, very entertaining. Will continue to watch. Makes me want to visit Scotland. Thx for asking my opinion.

  • Linda - 3 years ago

Was waay to rushed. Was like they were just romping around and very little content about who n what n where. I like both men, but shud make it longer and more knowledgeable. Half hour way too short of a time. Will continue to watch, but was kinda disappointed. ????

  • Angel Steinbeck - 3 years ago

My husband & I both watched it together & we loved it. Our only complaint is that is was only 1/2 an hour. Would have loved a whole hour of Sam & Graham. Looking forward to the next show.

  • Diann Robbins - 3 years ago

So much fun joining these two during their travels to learn more about their native Scotland. I love how much they enjoy the food! Vacation and travel is always best explored through food - as far as I'm concerned. It definitely left me wanting for more.

  • Rebecca - 3 years ago

Show was too short! Otherwise it was wonderful. Stretch the show out to an hour. Mike Rowe’s Dirty Jobs is an hour long show, and it’s a hit! Sam & Graham could easily fill an hour. Some of the stops felt rushed, like Tom Kitchin’s restaurant and the fishing boat. Change the show to an hour long and extend the content of each place you visit. Give these small businesses and local attractions more time on the series. If you extend the series, which I don’t see why you wouldn’t, there will be plenty of time to visit lots of locations. Then the show will not feel so rushed. It was a fabulous show though, and the content was amazing!!! Sam & Graham are going to become your cash cows!!!!

  • Sabrina D - 3 years ago

I loved the show, but like others I do wish it was a 60 minutes just so we can have a little bit more of our favorite two Scots. All in all, I think that it was a great taste of what Scotland has to offer all of us when we can visit again. It gives us just enough so we have the opportunity to make our own memories and adventures.

The commentary between the two felt more conversational and that was a nice change from anything that felt too scripted. It’s exactly what we were hoping for, so that was great.

Very much looking forward to future episodes, possibly another season with new ties to their beloved Scotland. Also, kudos to their team that really put forth a great campaign and other extras to keep us all up to date and involved. I don’t know how it may work behind the scenes, but those details did make it feel like this was done for us. Whether it’s true or not, in the end, I think we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and that’s all that matters in my opinion. We were entertained and that’s the point.

  • Paola - 3 years ago

Awesome first leg of the journey. I love the feeling of tagging along with these two gents in this great adventure. Truly looking forward to making this a weekly date. The food looked amazing but the breathtaking views stole my heart. We have a date in the future, Scotland!

  • Diane Rotolo - 3 years ago

Wish it was longer and more details. Both play off each other wonderfully. Can't wait for next week.

  • Fancykats - 3 years ago

I LOVED IT!!! Like most, show could easily have been an hour! More content and more detail and more Sam and Graham would be JUST FINE WITH ME!!! Hope they can keep doing more episodes together for a long time.... in Scotland!!!

  • Kathy - 3 years ago

Loved the 1st episode. Cannot wait to see next week. Just wish it was longer!! Too short for the massive amount of history Scotland has and the beautiful munros and lochs. Congratulations Sam and Graham!

  • Susan H - 3 years ago

The first episode was phenomenal. My only critique is that I wish the show was longer than 30 minutes. However, Sam and Graham give us a lot in such a small amount of time. Would like more time to fully be immersed in all they do. MIK needs to be 45-60 min. Hopefully STARZ will do that next season.

  • Ann - 3 years ago

Wish it had been longer than 30 minutes, but love the show and looking forward to the next episode!

  • Jenny - 3 years ago

Brilliant show full of content and fun banter. Would like more episodes and long show (60mins). My husband watched it with me and he said now that was a fun good show.

  • Michele - 3 years ago

This show was brilliantly done. Loved almost everything about it with exception to the length. I wish it would’ve been a bit longer. Cannot wait for the next episode. Greta job all around by everyone involved!

  • Tara - 3 years ago

This series is going to be amazing! Love the hilarious banter between Sam & Graham, the scenery is incredible, and the food in the first episode looked delicious! I agree with others that an hour episode each would have been awesome, just because it’s so much fun to watch! Can’t wait to see what’s next on the road trip!

  • Jen Kaden - 3 years ago

Episode One was fantastic! Men in Kilts allowed us an amazing trip to Scotland. Sam and Graham our tour guides showed us amazing food and drink. Their hilarious hijinks and outgoing attitudes make the show a huge hit.

  • Florence Schatz - 3 years ago

This first episode was so much fun. I totally enjoyed it. The food, the fishing, the peat digging, and finally the dram of 25 year old whisky. Oh, and I shouldn’t leave out the barley dive. Sam and Graham are great traveling hosts. They got so much into a half-hour episode! They showed me more in a half hour than when I was on tour some time ago. Thanks, Sam and Graham!

  • Lorraine - 3 years ago

Absolutely fantastic show but it needs to be longer! An hour would be fabulous. I would love it if they would spend more time at each event / location.
Can’t wait to see the next one!

  • Tough love - 3 years ago

I felt it jumped all over the place. More about the chefs would have been great too. Less Outlander as well. This is supposed to be Men in Kilts, not Outlander 2.O .However, the scenery was lovely, but more on backstories. Some of camera shots felt choppy though.

  • Annie - 3 years ago

There is no flow to the direction they are going in - Point A to Point 25 back to Point D. The scenery is great. The humor is negligible. Maybe if it was an hour long, the flow would be better. Some of the camera angles were just strange.

  • Lisa Caban - 3 years ago

It was so engaging and a fun ride. I do echo Autumn's sentiment in that I wish the episodes were longer so that more content could be delivered with each segment. Count me a faithful viewer. I love it!

  • Bonnie Glenn - 3 years ago

I absolutely loved episode 1 of Men in Kilts- the scenery, the delicious looking seafood, but most importantly the fun and humor between Sam and Graham. Their love for Scotland is palpable. Their bantering is infectious. Just wish we had MUCH more than 30 minute episodes. Grade A

  • Maryann Reilly - 3 years ago

Loved the show. I think the upcoming shows on sports and traditions and famous places will be even better!

  • Ursula Landman - 3 years ago

Absolutely loved the show ! The banter between Sam and Graham is just the lighthearted fun we need these days ! Thank you to them for bringing us beautiful Scotland during the pandemic when we are unable to travel . I loved seeing the sights , the food and all the fun they are having . I can’t wait to get back there ???????????????????????????????? In the mean time I’m looking forward to each episode and days when we can travel again safely ???????????????? ???????? A perfect show !

  • Mary - 3 years ago

Show was great! Informative, entertaining and just great fun! Wish it were longer (maybe 45-50 minutes to an hour). Looking forward to future episodes!

  • Fareeha Sharp - 3 years ago

Great show!!! Only one complaint..... IT'S TOO DAMN SHORT!!

  • Autumn - 3 years ago

Honestly, I was so very excited about this show and loved the concept. But with each venue, they rushed through the "activity" and I barely got a sense of expert at each venue and its impact on Scottish culture, both past and present. And I think that was a real diservice to the show. I would have loved to have learned why Tom really was destined for the Kitchin; I would have been thrilled to know some statistics about Scottish fisherman and the amount of seafood that is kept locally and how much in actual tons is shipped to the rest of the EU thus exploring why and how Scotland influences things globally. And that outdoor, open-air cooking with Tony Singh was amazing. But who the fuck is Tony Singh? Would have loved an additional 20 seconds on that and teach me.

It just felt like such a simple thing to dig into, and yet each location/venue was rushed thus teaching us very little. Is it that big a deal? No. Was it a giant missed opportunity? Yes. So all we were really left with was just watching two grown men romp around having no idea if they actually learned anything or not. Just.... weird. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Zach Efron actually made road tripping and exploring so much cooler.

They think they’re funnier then they are.
