You sure know your stuff, Carol! Thanks for explaining it.

    The capital letters "I," "V," "X," and "L" are Roman numerals. "I" equals "1," "V" equals "5," "X" equals "10," and "L" equals "50."

Schools still teach Roman numerals, as far a I know. I thought the Jumble was very cute.

In fact, I got the "Roamin' Numerals" answer before I got the "sitcom" clue. I worked backwards from "Roamin' Numerals" to isolate "s," "i," "o," and "m" and finally got the word "sitcom."

They were NOT numerals. They were letters.
