I use an 64 gb iphone 8 and only use 27gb of that. No way a 1tb iPhone is overkill, that's way too less. I would buy a 8th iPhone if there was one.

1 TB iPhone, come on now, I can’t even get 50% filled on my 128gb iPhone SE and that’s including all those sweet sweet porn clips granted most are over 20min long but after a few minutes I’m tapped out! Seriously 1Tb is over kill!

My iCloud and 512gb phone storage are already maxed out. The convenience and ease of access is worth it. An increase in iCloud storage limit of more than 2Tb would be great too. The more options we have to choose from the better... extremely small storage minimums for those who don’t use it so they aren’t paying for something they don’t need, and extremely large storage maximums for those who need or want it. 1Tb 2Tb 3Tb of phone storage, I don’t see why not. I can’t wait for the increase.

Having 256gb phones, I rarely use the storage because the majority of what is “on my phone” is in the cloud…what I would take, is a higher storage tier of iCloud storage.

More is always better !!! If you shoot anything in 4k you run into storage issues straight away. Besides people here don’t realize app size is ever growing. In 10 years 1tb will be today’s 1mb.

Yes, but if only the Pro(s) line up comes with 256gb / 512Gb / 1Tb.
128Gb is definitely not enough, even for 2021's standard of the 12 Pro Max.

No, because it will be double the price of an equivalent samsung. Not to mention the 1tb will be from Samsung anyway.

I would get it just to use it as a portable SSD. I know the speeds would be awful but the convenience of it would be great.

    Not for more than $999.

I have owned many iPhones, and always got the minimum RAM. Never regretted it. My 12 Pro has the minimum, which is way more than I would ever need. It has 128GB and my current usage is 35GB.

I have always been amused by headlines such as "Hey Apple, NO ONE wants minimum RAM". I realize that some people want more, always more, but I suspect 50% of customers can do fine with the base RAM .

Not this upgrade cycle, but I would consider it in future generations.
