The imagery and references are wrong, but we shouldn't whitewash this history. Seuss Enterprises should take a leaf out of Disney's book and put disclaimers in their books instead of not publishing.

I support no longer publishing these stories — the references to "Chinaman" and images likening Africans to monkeys have no place in our culture anymore.
