Do you prefer notch or punch-hole for iPhone?

A camera built into and under the display screen may seem like a new and expensive idea or concept.
Consumers that are willing to throw extra money will still be profitable for Apple.

Absolutely keep the notch. It is a unique Apple look just try to get rid of it as soon as you can that is all. Or raise it up a little bit so there’s more screen. I’ve learned to love it ???? Please don’t put a punch hole in my iPhone it’ll look like an android.

Do a hole punch, but also do under screen fingerprint or TouchID in power button like they did with the iPad Air 4th gen. Better yet, figure out how to do under screen camera. Just screen upfront, no notch, no hole punch, just screen. Paired with TouchID power button, I think that'd make a great iPhone.

Time to ditch Face ID. Why ride the coat tails of that one trick pony in response to the pandemic showing no sign of stopping, and more people obviously have to wear masks? It's basically a bit socially tome deaf to release a phone with this when functionality is going to be null and void when you're outside, especially when paying for things I stores. Keeping it literally makes no sense besides apple acknowledging that the face authentication fad died swiftly- and it would be about bloody time, too! Hopefully they actually "innovate" and apply some of that headphone jack "courage" I the right area this time. Don't get me wrong, Ideally there should be nothing there, but a punch hole makes sense because it offers closer to an uninterrupted screen with minimal interruptions opposed to an obnoxious, outdated 4 year old design. Common sense and tbe sheer size of a notch verus a punchhole really makes this a no brainef. Time they Get with the times and drop it for the very fast ultrasonic tech, since patients evidently show they have considered it- and it wouldn't be the first time they dropped dead weight *cough* 3d touch *cough*. The next gen Qualcomm sensor is almost faultless and there's literally no reason not to at this point. Hell, you could probably have your cake and eat it too when under display screens hit in the next year or, at worst, in 2 years. Apple get their screens from Samsung anyway and it wouldn't be that big of a loss for them to design something better/ different a whole 4 years after the industry abandoned this in convenient fad because the cons outweigh the pros, and evidently a huge-ass bathtub notch is a bit of a faux pas when it comes to talking about screen-to-body ratios and an "attractive" thing you literally have to stare at every time.

No punch hole. Reduce the height of the notch (if possible) and widen it (if required) to accommodate all the necessary sensors to allow them to operate at max potential. Keep using the remaining space on either side of the notch for time, battery, wireless signals, etc as currently done, or maybe utilise the space between the sensors for this content? Keep that "sensor and device info bar" dark across the whole width of the device. The appearance will be a slightly thicker border on the top, but videos, photos, games and other will not be compromised in their appearance as a result. It's a small trade off in design aesthetics of the device to be able to see the creative content of others in an uncompromising fashion.

If they put a punch hole they’re going to force movies to be played over it and I would hate that.

If we get battery % back, it's OK for me.

The notch gives the iPhone its own unique look. A punch hole will make it look like another Android phone. Make the notch shorter and then remove it completely when you can. No transition to punch hole.

Honestly I think Apple should leave it as is until they are able to hide everything behind the screen. No notch no punch-hole.
