The library is open for partial lobby service. A lot of grab and go services--picking up holds, printing and copying, and picking up tax forms. The staff is broken up into teams so we work in the library every other day. This usually includes interacting with patrons for at least one hour. I've taken this as an opportunity to dress up to the motherfucking gods. It's actually been fun especially since I've been spending the stimi checks on updating my wardrobe. Every day I leave the house, I'm rocking some kind of coordinated outfit with accessories. Because I don't have to leave the house every day, I can spend more time put shit together. It's not ugh, get up, drink coffee, what's clean routine anymore. I have time the day before to pick out stuff, iron (kinda) and just plan. The best part is that I'm doing it for me. I just feel better about myself when I leave the house. Last year, I always felt like some Mad Max roamer in my sweats and mask making food runs to the grocery store. lol.

And, Karen, I started feeling more confident about wearing animal prints when I turned about 35 years old. (I'm 48 now.) You can't tell me nothing about animal prints. Zebra print sheets, cheetah print curtains, leopard print skirt, dress, booties, blazer and fanny pack. Can't tell me shit. lol. However, not all at once, but I did just buy a leopard print pant suit because I'm embracing my Auntie side!

Here's a fun coffee table book about animal prints in fashion if you're interested: Fierce: The History of Leopard Print by Jo Weldon. https://www.amazon.com/Fierce-History-Leopard-Jo-Weldon/dp/006269295X/ref=asc_df_006269295X/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312128059570&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11859143028923453919&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9004364&hvtargid=pla-475735689975&psc=1
