I didn't think I would like Katie but I was pleasantly surprised at the way she handled reading the clues talking to the contestants. She had a nice flow throughout the game.
I am currently watching the football player Aaron somebody and he can barely read the clues and is awkward with the contestants Another jock trying to get a tv gig is the last thing we need on a show as beloved as Jeopardy.

I am trying to grasp why the Jeopardy producers are seeking all kinds of different personages to host the show. Some of the names submitted are completely inappropriate for that particular type of venue. I’ve been watching Jeopardy since it’s genesis

Katie is so passe. I was uncomfortable watching her trying to fit in where she doesn't belong. We have already reached the saturation point of seeing that same exact ingenuous smile flashed and used in exactly the same way for every response or comment. First time in years that I skipped 9 full day of Jeopardy. I tried to watch the first day but it was painful, Fake and crass do not begin to spell out how difficult it was to watch. Alex had to have been rolling over multiple times.
No Talent here, not sure how she has survived the MSM so long.

My vote is for Ken Jennings. When we turned on the T.V. to watch Jeopardy, Alex was like a familiar "friend"...someone we'd had a connection with for awhile. I feel the same way when Ken Jennings comes on...we all rooted the clean-cut young man on many years ago...and through the years, even, as he came back for championship tournaments. He stands for integrity and honesty and intelligence and making something of one's life, just like Alex did ... Something our nation needs more examples of!! Please...sign Ken on permanently!

He did a fantastic job being the first replacement for Alex.
With his wide breadth of knowledge he is able to make
interesting commentary during the game and interact with contestants very well. He will make Jeopardy a better show because of his knowledge of so many subjects.
Ken is very likable to the common men and women who
love Jeopardy. And his love of everything about the game
comes through when he is hosting. He’s a natural and he has a lot of class, just as Alex did. Please get Ken. He’s the answer to the question.... Who is the next permanent host of Jeopardy?

Some people have commented that they have been watching Jeopardy since Alex was a young man. I have been watching Jeopardy since Art Fleming was the host . Alex did, indeed, leave very large shoes to fill, and no one will ever take his place. But, Katie Couric was a breath of fresh air that cannot be duplicated. I'm not sure what she did to evoke the ire of some viewers, but she is a beautiful, knowledgeable, well spoken and gracious lady. I hope and pray she will be recalled to resume the hosting duties. But regardless, I love Jeopardy, as well as Katie, and will remain a staunch defender of each.

All guest hosts seemed competent, however, Alex left big shoes to fill. Perhaps the time span during which new guest hosts will attempt to fill the gap will provide an opportunity for management, staff and fans to reflect upon the future of the show and who would be a natural successor(s) to a wonderful host.

Jeopardy Management.....You have a problem....all 3 of the guests hosts, to date, have been outstanding each in their own style.
My guesstimate is that there will be more quality hosts to follow.
Good luck with your decision making. Based on performance to date I would find comfort with any of the 3.

I have been watching Jeopardy for as long as I can remember. Alex had dark hair and mustache then. I will not watch Jeopardy if Katie Curic is host. She had a breakdown and said things about Republicans that didn’t sit well with me. She is very boring and uneven. She doesn’t have the spontaneity that Alex did. Ken and Robert were great.

All these complaints about “How could Jeopardy even consider Couric” etc, is nuts. These are tryouts. They have no idea how each person is going to be until they are actually under the gun. I for one was negative about Jennings but after watching he’s got my vote so far. We just need to let everyone have their chance and see what happens when the dust settles.

Ken Jennings did a GREAT job. He is smart, funny , handles himself well and brings no negative baggage with him ( as any celebrity or journalist is bound to do) He handles himself with obvious class and makes his contestants comfortable. You need not look any further...
Ken jennings was the best. NO to Katie. We haven't seen Mike yet so can't judge him. Don't even know who he is. Dr Oz should not even be considered!!

I have watched Jeopardy since I was a little girl. I wasn't sure as to whether I would watch Jeopardy after Alex died because I felt there wasn't anybody who could replace him. However after watching Ken Jennings I feel that he should be the new host. If he is unavailable for some reason , then Mike Richards should be made the host. Please do not even think about Katie Couric.
Katie was such a breath of fresh air. She is so much mote genuine and human than the two robots who preceded her. Katie appears to be too emotionally expressive for the reactionaries who commented here. She brought dome much needed enthusiasm to the set.
Ken Jennings started of poorly but improved after the first few days.
Either he or Mike would make a good host.

Mike Richard's all the way, the guy was a great host. Mike's overall character, poise, professional deminor was spot on, reminding me so much like Alex making him an awesome fit to be the host of Jeopardy. They should just stop looking now.

Mike Richards was as good as Alex! Although I really like Ken and Katie, I would not watch the show with them hosting. My vote is for Mike!
OMG it can not be Ken Jennings his voice and mannerisms is like a puppet!!! I have watched this show for a very long time, except for the time Ken was trying to host. If he gets the job I will never watch again.
I have watched jeopardy my whole life started with art Fleming’s.alex was a gentleman so genuine.kind & caring. Ken was ok mike the best. Katie was so phony & opinionated.if she was the new host I would be done with my favorite game show.
My vote is for Ken Jennings. When we turned on the T.V. to watch Jeopardy, Alex was like a familiar "friend"...someone we'd had a connection with for awhile. I feel the same way when Ken Jennings comes on...we all rooted the clean-cut young man on many years ago...and through the years, even, as he came back for championship tournaments. He stands for integrity and honesty and intelligence and making something of one's life, just like Alex did ... Something our nation needs more examples of!! Please...sign Ken on permanently!

Please not Ken Jennings! He was awful. I pick the second guy who hosted as first choice with Katie C as next then Ken Jennings last! He just had no personality and is somewhat irritating!
I could only stand one week on Ken Jennings. He has no warmth or personality. If he becomes host, I will never watch the show again.
Richards is the ONLY one for the full-time job. He's Head and shoulders above Jennings. My vote, if it matters, as for Richards.

I found I couldn't sit through an entire show when Katie was on. Thank heavens her two weeks are over. I very much liked Ken and didn't mind Mike--although Ken still gets my vote for permanent replacement. I wish we didn't have to sit through so many more weeks of guest hosts...
Katie was so far ahead of the others as fat as clarity and projection. In my opinion she was as close to cloning Alex as you will ever get. I am severely deaf but could understand everything she said which also was a major plus. Great job Katie

He did a fantastic job being the first replacement for Alex.
With his wide breadth of knowledge he is able to make
interesting commentary during the game and interact with contestants very well. He will make Jeopardy a better show because of his knowledge of so many subjects.
Ken is very likable to the common men and women who
love Jeopardy. And his love of everything about the game
comes through when he is hosting. He’s a natural and he has a lot of class, just as Alex did. Please get Ken. He’s the answer to the question.... Who is the next permanent host of Jeopardy?
Some people have commented that they have been watching Jeopardy since Alex was a young man. I have been watching Jeopardy since Art Fleming was the host . Alex did, indeed, leave very large shoes to fill, and no one will ever take his place. But, Katie Couric was a breath of fresh air that cannot be duplicated. I'm not sure what she did to evoke the ire of some viewers, but she is a beautiful, knowledgeable, well spoken and gracious lady. I hope and pray she will be recalled to resume the hosting duties. But regardless, I love Jeopardy, as well as Katie, and will remain a staunch defender of each.

Forget Mike Rogers. He thinks who he is. Katie Couric was awesome. She put her personal touch into it as did Alex. Although I like some of the upcommers I don’t think they will come close to Katie or Ken. Politics must be left out of this. I vote for Katie.

Once KC leaves Jeopardy then I will start watching again. She was, in my opinion, not suited for a game show host at all! Very demeaning in her approach to the contestants and answers.
Ken Jennings & Mike Richards would be my vote to host the show. If Katie Couric will be the host, I will not be watching Jeopardy any longer. As for the other guest host listed I will not be watching them either.

Will never watch again if she hosts. Our tv has been turned off of the show for the last two weeks
All guest hosts seemed competent, however, Alex left big shoes to fill. Perhaps the time span during which new guest hosts will attempt to fill the gap will provide an opportunity for management, staff and fans to reflect upon the future of the show and who would be a natural successor(s) to a wonderful host.

Jeopardy Management.....You have a problem....all 3 of the guests hosts, to date, have been outstanding each in their own style.
My guesstimate is that there will be more quality hosts to follow.

I have been watching Jeopardy for as long as I can remember. Alex had dark hair and mustache then. I will not watch Jeopardy if Katie Curic is host. She had a breakdown and said things about Republicans that didn’t sit well with me. She is very boring and uneven. She doesn’t have the spontaneity that Alex did. Ken and Robert were great.
The shows producer should be the choice. They need to stop now he is & was the best. He had so much class.

Have watched Jeopardy for decades and thought Katie Couric did a perfectly fine job as host. She was pleasant and encouraging to the contestants. Her occasional brief personal references were a nice touch and didn't impede the show's progress. I've enjoyed her two weeks as host.
Katie was the worst replacement and whoever does her makeup, hair and wardrobe should be fired immediately.

Katie Couric was ok I don't care for her. When Anderson Cooper hosts I will not watch. Stop with all the guest host trainwrecks. Make Mike Richards permanent he was the most engaging and warm personality so far.

We have seen a couple of good personalities to fill Alex's position, Katie and Mike were great. We also saw Ken Jennings who lacks what a good host should have, personality.
Katie Couric was merely competent, not exceptional. She was too smiley and chatty, seeming rather uncomfortable and phony. My biggest complaint is that she mispronounced several names, Adlai Stevenson's for one, which a newsperson should know.
If you Trump sheeples would go ahead and do the right thing and get deprogrammed, I think you would see that Katie did an admirable job! Worshipping criminals is a bad look! Time will tell which guest host is best for the job. I like Mike so far but Ken and Katie were a very close second.

Ken Jennings fits both ways for Jeopardy - as a host and having been a knowledgeable contestant. Mike Richards also understands what works well and is an experienced host from the production side. Though Ken is my first choice, I think either one would make Alec proud.

All these complaints about “How could Jeopardy even consider Couric” etc, is nuts. These are tryouts. They have no idea how each person is going to be until they are actually under the gun. I for one was negative about Jennings but after watching he’s got my vote so far. We just need to let everyone have their chance and see what happens when the dust settles.
