Katie Couric has been a bit difficult to watch as a Jeopardy host. Her smile is too artificial and fake, in my opinion. She is also too "chatty" , many times oversharing information about herself, her daughter and where she is from, Virginia. Her pacing is also a bit slow. A number of times the categories aren't completed because of her pacing. She's made the show more about herself and not about the contestants. I do applaud her support for the cancer charity. Jeopardy should be more about the contestants than the host. Alex never made the show about him! Instead Alex always focused on the contestants. Alex is deeply and greatly missed, as I knew he would be. I am still very saddened by his death. I had a great appreciation and love for Alex. Ken Jennings started out as a little bit stilted as a host. But as time went by, he became more relaxed. Ken understands what it takes to be a contestant. He has a deep appreciation and love for the game! And he is also a very knowledgeable man. Ken definitely has my vote as the permanent host of Jeopardy. Mike Richard's also did a good job hosting. In my opinion, he made many comments about Alex and many references about Alex also. I enjoy hearing about Alex. But the focus should remain on the contestants as Alex believed it should be. Mike did have a nice speaking voice and an articulate presentation. He would be my second choice as a permanent host.

Katie has been my least favorite of them all so far. I honestly don't feel like they should replace Alex with a celebrity. They keep bragging how Alex would tell them how the contestants are the stars of Jeopardy, not the Host. If he really did say that to them then they should follow his advice and not ruin Jeopardy. Alex had the smarts, the wits and the voice. The guest host people are just in there because it's trendy, not because they have a true passion for the show like Alex did. I think if they want to honor Alex with all these guest host for a while, they should find someone new they can mold into a new breed of gameshow host for the next generation. That would be the biggest honor to Alex, not some celebrity pretending to be like Alex. Just my nickels worth of advice.

There is one word that can sum up Katie Couric’s performance on Jeopardy, “boring.” There are many other words as well, but none that are complimentary. Ken was average at best and not very charismatic. So far, hands down, Mike Richards has done the best job. He should come out from behind the camera and host the show. He knows what it takes to make the show successful. Great job, Mike!

Katie managed to make the show all about her - feeling the need to let everyone know she's from Virginia, her daughter writes for a particular TV show, he likes Al Green, etc. All these comments came during the game when the contestants wanted clues, not info about Katie. I tried, really, to like Katie Couric. She's condescending, and takes too long on her responses, so much so that many games were unfinished because of her pacing. That said, pretty sure Mike Richards has a lot on his plate with all the shows he's producing, so logically, that leaves Ken Jennings as the probable successor to Alex Trebek.

I watched a couple of Couric's episodes & felt she was lacking the warmth and non-judgmental personality of Jennings or Richards (let alone the mighty Trebek). Her delivery was a bit stilted & reminded me of the sort of teacher who doesn't really care about the students, only whether their answers (questions) were correct. As for "doctor" Oz, I'll watch one episode to be fair, but no more than that. As far as I'm concerned, he's a snake oil salesman & has no place on a show that involves intelligence.

I am a long time viewer of Jeopardy and miss Alex terribly. I haven’t watched since Katie Couric has been hosting because she’s too toxic politically in my opinion because of the way she called out the Republicans being in a cult and needing deprogramming. Also, it was inappropriate for her to publicize her upcoming book. I will also not watch Jeopardy if Guthrie hosts. Get a game show host or better yet just get Ken Jennings. He and Mike Richards were great

I've been watching Jeopardy since it started. A major reason that Alex was so successful was that he never allowed it to be about him. It was always about the contest and the contestants. A true professional and a gentleman. All these 'celebrities' lined up to guest host are so full of themselves they will ruin the show. I almost never miss it but I could only stomach 2 episodes of the Catie Curic show. Please please please stop the madness and make Mike Richards the new host. He did an excellent job. He could definitely continue the tradition of quality at Jeopardy.

I didn't like Katie Couric as host at all. At times she seemed to have trouble reading the clues, and she seemed forced most of the time. Being a Jeopardy host is simply NOT like being the host of the "typical" game show. A good Jeopardy host should be smooth and able to project a certain amount of intellect. Ms. Couric did neither, but I do give her credit for supporting cancer organizations, both in memory of Alex Trebek and because of the death of her husband and also a sister I believe. Mike Richards was the best at this so far. Looking forward to seeing how the other guest hosts do.

Personally, I like Katie but as a Jeopardy host? No way. Her reading of clues was boring and had no variety and her endless smile made MY face hurt. She is not made for this gig. I think Katie is very personable, bringing more to the show than the others, She is very engaging when talking with the contestants. She often adds additional information about the questions, making it more interesting.

For all of you who want to respect Alex trebek, he made it quite clear he wanted a woman to replace him and Katie Couric is perfect. I doubt if she would take the gig but I would love her to.
I did not watch her guest-hosting and will not watch if she becomes the Jeopardy host. I agree with others- she is too toxic.
Absolutely a “NO” for Katie Couric. Please don’t have that, not a good selection. Mike wasn’t bad, but Ken was extremely well received. Pleasant manners, courtesy, sure of himself, and very fun, and interesting to watch!! Our vote to for Ken!
I am a long time viewer of Jeopardy and miss Alex terribly. I haven’t watched since Katie Couric has been hosting because she’s too toxic politically in my opinion because of the way she called out the Republicans being in a cult and needing deprogramming. Also, it was inappropriate for her to publicize her upcoming book. I will also not watch Jeopardy if Guthrie hosts. Get a game show host or better yet just get Ken Jennings. He and Mike Richards were great

I've been watching Jeopardy since it started. A major reason that Alex was so successful was that he never allowed it to be about him. It was always about the contest and the contestants. A true professional and a gentleman. All these 'celebrities' lined up to guest host are so full of themselves they will ruin the show. I almost never miss it but I could only stomach 2 episodes of the Catie Curic show. Please please please stop the madness and make Mike Richards the new host. He did an excellent job. He could definitely continue the tradition of quality at Jeopardy.

I have enjoyed Jeopardy for decades, as my mom did before me. I did not watch Katy Couric, nor will I watch Jeopardy if she hosts again. Her comments have been too insulting to myself and half of the country. Perhaps she needs to reeducate herself!
I have stopped watching while she is host. I think she’s terrible and sounds condescending when contestants answer correctly . I watched the first day to give her a chance, but yuk!
Katie is not the person for Jeopardy. Ken was good but Mike Richard was unbelievable. I personally think you should look no further.
I think Ken Jennings has a better understanding of Jeopardy. He has been a contestant and also hosted. I think he is the Best choice for the job. The only other one would be Mike. I probably won’t be watching if anybody else is chosen. Have been watching from the beginning of the show, and the others are not Jeopardy worthy.

I haven't been reprogrammed yet, as she suggested to viewers, so felt I shouldn't watch while she guest hosted. If she is selected as permanent host I'd stop watching Jeopardy.
I do not think Ken Jennings is right for the job. He is too arrogant and Smug. Mike was great. Looking to see some of the others. People should be judged on performance not on previous comments. Katie did fine.
I like Ken Jennings or. Mike Richards..have not watched since Katie Couric has been on...can not get past the "deprogramming" remark...also will not watch when Anderson Cooper is on...
Katie Couric talked too much and at times, slowly responded to contestants. Frequently did not finish categories. It's about the game. Good job with donations to cancer research.
I didn't like Katie Couric as host at all. At times she seemed to have trouble reading the clues, and she seemed forced most of the time. Being a Jeopardy host is simply NOT like being the host of the "typical" game show. A good Jeopardy host should be smooth and able to project a certain amount of intellect. Ms. Couric did neither, but I do give her credit for supporting cancer organizations, both in memory of Alex Trebek and because of the death of her husband and also a sister I believe. Mike Richards was the best at this so far. Looking forward to seeing how the other guest hosts do.
Really liked Mike, but it’s not about who you didn’t like, rather who would you prefer !
Anderson Cooper should be stopped before he starts. Jeopardy doesn’t need him, let him get drunk and be a little girl like he is.

Personally, I like Katie but as a Jeopardy host? No way. Her reading of clues was boring and had no variety and her endless smile made MY face hurt. She is not made for this gig. Her hosting made me miss Alex so much I preferred watching his reruns more than atchinh her new shows. Ken was good, the producer Mike was also good. Alex's shoes are awfully big to fill...keep looking!

Worst by far. Her voice is just one step down from Roseann. My vote so far is for Mike Richards. Great voice, very personable and really cute. The rest of the line-up doesn’t sound promising.
I boycotted Jeopardy during Katie’s time as host, will also boycott when Anderson Copper hosts.

I enjoy Katie Couric’s presence on TV normally, but not as hosting Jeopardy. She doesn’t “lead” the show and her overall performance is weak.
Ken was good. Katie was pretty good but so far I liked the producer most so far. Still open to everyone.
Watched Katie twice. Couldn’t bear to watch any more. Plastic smile and condescending attitude were too much for me. If she’s permanent, I’ll watch Andy Griffith reruns instead of Jeopardy. Ken Jennings gets my vote for permanent host.
Katie Couric came off as fake and patronizing. Will quit watching Jeopardy if she becomes host. Absolutely won't watch a host who has the opinion that I might need to be reprogrammed because I don't agree with her viewpoint. I liked Ken Jennings but thought Richards actually fit the role best.

Ken Jennings by far! I liked the Producer, but he spent a lot of time speaking about Alex. Ken mentioned Alex with reverence each day. He knows what it is like to be on the contestant panel and after the first couple of days was outstanding. Get Katie Couric off and keep her off.

Couric had a smile that seemed to have been added with her makeup. No warmth. Jennings was too stilted. Richards was the best option so far, but have to come to grips with the fact that that Trebeck is gone!
Katie has done a great job but I don’t see her as the new host. I was very impressed with Mike Richards. He seemed very genuine. But...give the others chance.

I think Katie is very personable, bringing more to the show than the others, She is very engaging when talking with the contestants. She often adds additional information about the questions, making it more interesting.

Katie has done a wonderful job as host. She made the show so much more interesting. She spoke so clear and was very easy to understand her delivery of questions. She needs to be the permanent host.

Did not like her at all. Could not wait until her 2 weeks were over. She acted too much like the show was about her and her charity and not the contestants. Charity good cause but the show is not about charity or her. Hope to see Ken back as permanent host. Carried the show like Alex did, for the contestants.
