I find it hard to believe that a women her age could act so 'girly, girly'.....it is so fake and pretentious, and that 'gummy' grin of hers is hard to watch.
I have been a life long fan of Jeopardy, and of course Alex...and l believe he would welcome Ken Jennings to take over as permanent host.
Sadly, l will no longer watch Jeopardy if Couric is chosen to be the next permanent host.

I enjoyed Katie’s “spin”on Jeopardy! She was upbeat, encouraging, and smart! She was able to speak with the contestants and provide us an opportunity to get to know them and cheer more personally for each of them! Katie was practiced and polished with all of the information and I appreciated hearing her share additional clarifying tidbits about many of the answers! Thank you for providing a woman as an option as a host for this show! We need to see many more examples of intelligent and personable women demonstrating their tremendous capabilities! For those who chose not to tune in... you missed an excellent two-week informational and fun event!

NO TO Katie Couric! if she is chosen as Alex's replacement my family and I will no longer watch Jeopardy. We've watched the show since Alex took over as the host. We found Katie to be so condescending, arrogant and so full of herself. We lost all respect for her after she said all 74 million Trump supporters should be deprogrammed. We also feel the same way about Anderson Cooper.

of the fact that HE is not the STAR! Having been a contestant himself...he relates well to the players. The new host needs to be able to blend in rather than stand out!! Ken Jennings is a good family man and has the utmost respect for Alex, is easy to listen to his voice, and is not political at all. Second best would be Mike Richards but Ken is first and the youngest so can stay for a long time like Alex made it part of his life. Ken is classy and noncontroversial so is Mike. I liked Ken Jennings. Clearly he was familair with the game and seemed well prepared. But there was something missing, a little sizzle. Couric also was well prepared. She did have a few pauses before right answers and it seemed far too many times not all questions were used. That can happen with too much time by contestants on wrong answers, but she made lots of comments. Frankly, I don't care what show her daughter writes for. I get she rightfully is proud, but leave that for the Thanksgiving table. I figured Mike Richards was a fill in and had low expectations. I was blown away. He is smooth, easy to listen to, has a positive personality and interacted with contestants well. He didn't need notecards when he was asking them a question. He did a superb job and is my current number one by a long shot.

Mike Richards has the experience hosting game shows (i.e. Pyramid), the familiarity with Jeopardy, stage presence, the whole package. Please do not let Ken Jennings be the permanent host, he is boring and has to be in dark clothing just to be realized as an actual person on screen. Very bland one note with way too much exposure after winning jeopardy which I think was a fluke.

Cancel Katie Couric for good!!!!!!! I watched only 2 of the Jeopardy shows guest hosted by Katie Couric and was totally distracted from the game and contestants because she is so annoying. Thus far my choice for permanent host is Mike Richards. He has the demeanor and style to continue showcasing the game and contestants in the Alex Trebek tradition. Ken Jennings is a close second, and I could accept him as host, but he is not as good a fit as Mike Richards.

So far, Katie is a BIG NO. She talks too slowly and sounds like she is talking down to preschoolers. Ken is enthusiastic about the game, but his voice is pitched high — not resonant like Alex or Art Fleming. He seemed to be more comfortable in the position the longer he acted as host. As for the comment that she is self centered....nobody was more self centered than Trebek. Evert comment contestants made somehow got back to.."oh yes, I did that and" blah, blah. Not sure why LAVAR BURTON isn't one of the guest hosts. I know100% he would be the perfect Jeopardy host. I can picture him doing an exemplary job with all aspects of hosting. Quite honestly,
Ken Jennings was very very good & had my early vote.
Katie Couric did a fine job too & was extremely well prepared.
While Mike Richards is I believe, involved with Jeopardy at
a high Production level. Maybe at “Wheel” as well.
I believe Mike’s stint was essentially as Ken’s fill in,
because Ken had commitments to his new show.
NOW HERE THIS!
No one will “replace” Alex Trebeck, NO-ONE!
However, to me, at this juncture, Mike appears
most able to carry forward with great confidence, image,
character, competence, respect & such caring &
dedication,
to JEOPARDY’s long term future, yet in great honor

I was hesitant about watching white Katie Couric was on, but I will say that I've enjoyed her as guest host. I've actually liked everyone so far, but absolutely will NOT watch Anderson Cooper, period. Alex was pure class and nothing about Anderson is class at all!

Ken Jennings is the only one not a public figure until now. I think Alex admired him greatly and would have graced him the opportunity to fill his shoes.
I love Katie and Mike and I'm blown away by the rest of the roster but my vote will be for Ken now and in September.

Couric was quite annoying. Mike meant well but came off as arrogant but less so than couric. I was looking forward to hating/loathing/abhoring jennings However ....the guy was sadly terrific at hosting. And I literally believe Trebek would approve. But couric.....no way

I liked Ken Jennings. Clearly he was familair with the game and seemed well prepared. But there was something missing, a little sizzle. Couric also was well prepared. She did have a few pauses before right answers and it seemed far too many times not all questions were used. That can happen with too much time by contestants on wrong answers, but she made lots of comments. Frankly, I don't care what show her daughter writes for. I get she rightfully is proud, but leave that for the Thanksgiving table. I figured Mike Richards was a fill in and had low expectations. I was blown away. He is smooth, easy to listen to, has a positive personality and interacted with contestants well. He didn't need notecards when he was asking them a question. He did a superb job and is my current number one by a long shot.

Mike Richards has the experience hosting game shows (i.e. Pyramid), the familiarity with Jeopardy, stage presence, the whole package. Please do not let Ken Jennings be the permanent host, he is boring and has to be in dark clothing just to be realized as an actual person on screen. Very bland one note with way too much exposure after winning jeopardy which I think was a fluke.
Cancel Katie Couric for good!!!!!!! I watched only 2 of the Jeopardy shows guest hosted by Katie Couric and was totally distracted from the game and contestants because she is so annoying. Thus far my choice for permanent host is Mike Richards. He has the demeanor and style to continue showcasing the game and contestants in the Alex Trebek tradition. Ken Jennings is a close second, and I could accept him as host, but he is not as good a fit as Mike Richards.
Ken Jennings was delightful, knowledgeable, and added just the right touch of humor..... the perfect mix! Katie Couric is too polarizing of a personality, not fit to walk in the shoes of Alex!
So far, Katie is a BIG NO. She talks too slowly and sounds like she is talking down to preschoolers. Ken is enthusiastic about the game, but his voice is pitched high — not resonant like Alex or Art Fleming. He seemed to be more comfortable in the position the longer he acted as host. If one could only “teach” a lower voice.
I loved the ceo he was fabulous, Ken not so much he is involved in so many other shows, Katie did not enjoy at all, we need a really good guy to do this.

Ken Jenning being the most experienced is for me can be a permanent host.. I'm looking forward for Ken to resume being a permanent replacement for Idol Alex Trebek.

Not sure why LAVAR BURTON isn't one of the guest hosts. I know100% he would be the perfect Jeopardy host. I can picture him doing an exemplary job with all aspects of hosting. He has all of Alex's qualities and he brings with him the experience of a stellar career in the arts and as an advocate for reading and education. He is more than a celebrity or mc. Katie Couric is the most well rounded and professional person to guest host Jeopardy. She also seems to truly enjoy her role and gets excited when a contestant correctly answers a difficult question.

I thought Richards was excellent and prefer him so far, though Jennings was a close second. I didn’t watch Jeopardy after 2 days of watching Couric. I couldn’t take her voice or flakiness,though I gave it an honest try.
I liked Ken Jennings and would be OK him. BUT I thought I thought Mike Richards was outstanding! He has the personality and good looks and just a all around pleasant demeanor. As it stands now, he would be my #1 pick.
