Was Ru watching the same lip sync I was watching? I thought this was one of the most one sided lip syncs I’d seen in a long time and it did NOT go the way I saw it. I’m on the fence when it comes to Tina Burner and a big fan of Utica Queen, so I was a little upset after seeing the lip sync and how thoroughly Tina Burner outperformed Utica. So, I don’t know, did Tina Burner upset Ru somehow? Jaw drop!

Watching the lip synch initially I would say Tina outperformed Utica until near the end when Utica was the editor's focus and showed she was acting the song in a weird comic way. I watched the lip synch again and found Tina was pulling out funny kicks and tricks that had nothing to do with the song. Less showy Utica was more connected to the song and her actual lip synching spot-on. Tina's lips may have mouthed the words well but hard to tell with all the movement. Utica won.

I honestly thought this was one of the most boring Lip Sync’s I’ve seen. I barely remember Tina’s performance in the commercial and on the main stage. Utica is so weird you have no choice to remember her but the lip sync was pretty burning until the end. I’m also confused by why Gottmik wasn’t in the bottom as the commercial made absolutely zero sense and who can even remember the name of the soda?
