Consent is key - if you have a patient's permission to share/sell their data then there's nothing untoward about sharing/selling that data.

I just can't understand why it is legally okay for some company to gather data about me and sell it to other companies without my permission. It is not the entity's data to sell - the data is owned by the patient.
