Amlo didn’t actually say how much of Mexico was controlled by the cartels, just not 1/3... probably because it’s more.

  • Steve May - 3 years ago

That's kind of like asking which tastes worse - old raw fish or Vegemite.

Two examples of runaway big government being run by so called progressives. Equally bad..

Biden is absolutely the WORST president we have ever had but let me qualify my statement . it's not just him but his entire group of criminals and to include the media that is twice as corrupt as
    any Mexican official

By FAR I believe AMLO over Joe Biden , or the regime now in place in the USA.
Joe Biden is an “empty suit”, a puppet.
The citizens of the USA, and the residents, Do Not Know WHO is Behind the Curtain running the show!
Americans are preoccupied w/Facebook, Twitter, the latest Nike or Apple product... or their next cosmetic surgery . Believe AMLO over that old lying, dog face pony soldier Biden!✌????

  • robert corkrum - 3 years ago

Wow SO MANY MEXICANS dislike Biden,,??What has he done except trying to control borders as Millions of Mexicans try to leave Mexico and go north and 10's of millions of South and Central Americans try also.Get off your social media and learn the facts.

  • Steve Richmond - 3 years ago

There is such dire poverty in Mexico, cops/leaders don’t want to be corrupt, they just have no choice if they want to give their family any kind of standard of living

  • Rob Clark - 3 years ago

It's my opinion that the cartels run most everything. Both sides of the border need to clean house.

  • Freedom Fannie - 3 years ago

With Biden as U.S. President, you had better BELIEVE AMLO!!!

  • Gunnar Myklandit - 3 years ago

It's a tough choice. The US is government is 50/50. AMLO is a complete 0.

  • jerry t byrnes - 3 years ago

    you all are so WRONG

  • Carolyn L Crane - 3 years ago

I doubt that the Mexican government will ever be able to stop the cartels. And too many police and government officials are being paid off by the cartels.

  • Cathy Dockx - 3 years ago

I really don't believe any limitation an especially American goverment.

  • Don Dwire - 3 years ago

I like the Mexsican President more all the time.....

  • John - 3 years ago

In my opinion AMLO is a poor version of Donald Trump. Narcissism, miss truths and flat out lies are the order of the day.

  • Eric - 3 years ago

Politics is politics. In this case the US government has nothing to gain or loose, on the other hand.........

  • Judy Hinton - 3 years ago

Don’t trust Biden or his administration!!

  • Patrick Alcatraz - 3 years ago

I don't believe Americans have anything to worry about in this discussion. Everybody knows that no one treats a Mexican worse than another Mexican. But if it's solely about trust between these two governments, well, history has it that both are guilty of juking each other. Neighbor stuff. Friends with fences, that sort of stuff...

About what? If trump was the
Pres....Then? Not a very clear question

If the Trump administration were still in power, I would vote differently. Now the US has an honest, hardworking president with good intentions at home & abroad. López Labrador has not proven to be such a person, and as a result, the cartels still rule the country.

  • beschaf - 3 years ago

There must be a lot of weed being smoked if it’s an 83/17 split if the majority of the people trust the word of the US FEDS over AMLO. Not that AMLO ain’t twisted by any means...

  • Jim adler - 3 years ago

the US government is by far more corrupt overall than in Mexico and all gringos that live in Mexico know it
the election was a fraud . Biden never ever ever should have won . The deep swamp controlled and
there where just too many elements against him
We gringos are in for one hell of a disaster . Dopey Biden doesn't even remember his name .
He ain't making the decisions It's the deep swamp PEEIOD

  • Stan - 3 years ago

Im terrified about coming to Guadalajara after those murders in Tlakipaki last weekend.

  • Luigi Kleinsasser - 3 years ago

We can't believe either of them. The U.S. tells lies while AMLO just doesn't know the difference . . .

  • George - 3 years ago

With all the corruption at all levels in Mexico, including the state-owned monopolies, it’s difficult to believe what they say without verification.

The U.S. certainly has has it’s own problems in recent years, hopefully improving now.

But I do think U.S. generals aren’t politically motivated to a party. They can be believed, especially when they’re just acknowledging and speaking up about the facts.

  • marco a. sordo - 3 years ago

Lopez only open his mouth to say only LIES evverytime.

  • Mark Ethan Smith - 3 years ago

Unable to vote. As there is no difference between what the US says and what AMLO says, there is no choice.

  • Jerelyn Fyvolent - 3 years ago

I don't believe either one! AMLO has been a big disappointment and the US government always paints Mexico in a bad light.

  • Elizabeth Townson Crowe - 3 years ago

Neither. Trump, yes, Joe Biden is too far out in space to even know what is going on !!!

  • Lorenzo Brown - 3 years ago

I voted for AMLO thinking of Trump who is a liar, thief, and anything that a horrible person can be, however, thinking of Biden, l would vote for him.

  • Dave Allison - 3 years ago

IT is so cute to see some of the same Right wing USA insurrectionists and Oaf Keepers who attack U S government,, choosing to believe the US estimados of status of crime in México rather than the President of Mexico. Sad.

  • Deborah Goodman - 3 years ago

NEITHER ! Both governments are CORRUPT !!! It is all propaganda & brain washing with little said about reality.
We will never know the "truth" as all MSM are in the pockets of politicians....most of them liars

  • Geoffrey Rogg - 3 years ago

Mexico was deliberately and permanently destabilised by the criminal Spanish conquistadores and their accursed inquisition. Viva Moctezuma!

  • Dianne Rundles - 3 years ago

Mexico has never done enough to stop the cartels or politicians whom are corrupt!

  • John belton - 3 years ago

Should have been a third choice which would have been “neither”.

  • Carmen Baranda - 3 years ago

I don’t believe any thing Lopez Obrador says.
He doesn’t have any respect for the law or the citezens

  • Luis - 3 years ago

I’m fed up of all bunch of lies of Mexican president... he’s a socialist, corrupt, this is the old PRI, same as in the 70s
    Somebody stop him ASAP

  • Wayne - 3 years ago

Mexico must work for all its people, elimination crime is number #1, I wish The US, had the same attitude

  • Ginette Cain - 3 years ago

Sadly, Mexico does not have a president who has the reputation for bold and truthful pronouncements.

  • Bill Dean - 3 years ago

AMLO has not been good for MEXICO. The NARCOs control large sections of the country and to be fair long predate AMLO but he does not seem to understand that “abrazos instead of bullets” won’t work. Not sure what will work to counter the NARCOs...poor MEXICO.

  • Guillermo Lupi Sr - 3 years ago

AMLO IS A CONSUMATED LIAR IN CAJOUTS WITH AT LEAST THE CARTEL OF SINALOA. WHY DO I SAY THIS: HIS ALLIES IN THE SENATE ARE WORKING HARD TO PASS A LAW TO MAKE THE CENTRAL BANK ACCEPT DOLLARS IN CASH. THEY CLAIM THESE DOLLARS ARE BROUGHT BY MIGRANTS RETURNING TO MEXICO: YES, AS IF THERE WERE SO MANY JOBS AWATING FOR THEM IN MEXICO!

  • Esther Klein Buddenhagen - 3 years ago

I would be skeptical of both. With Biden in office perhaps a little less skeptical of the US but really there still is little or no evidence that the US administration has many people really knowledgeable about Mexico

  • Jim Murray - 3 years ago

Mexico is a wonderful country but the cartels now control it. PERIOD!
