If Meredith died I will feel that I waste my time watching the show. I don't think that she should die because it shows that she doesn't care about her kids. She deserves to be back and be happy again. Dereck cheats on her before he died. I don't like Amelia or some of the other cast, it just a drama, Why they're keeping killing all the main characters?
The only reason I've hung on to Meredith is because she's Meredith ! But I am honest, she has been a very unhappy woman every season and only got more unhappy and self-destruction up until this point. Do I want her to just "die" already? Kind of, but it's only because SHE DOES! The beach scenes have grown to be slightly anti-climatic and I agree, I no longer get it. I would love to escape this covid life though. Please ! Have a socially distanced ball/party or something! Can somebody other than Maggie and Glasses get some steamy sex going?!
The beach scenes are the only light ones. I am enjoying them. Enough with the Covid. Grey’s is not very entertaining outside the beach. We are all living this pandemic- having to constantly be reminded while unwinding from the day. Hard pass. Beach scenes show the characters we want back. Shonda screwed up killing McDreamy. Never was as good.
I've been watching Grey's since the pilot episode. Through the years they have had some great and some just okay seasons, but I've remained loyal as I feel invested in the characters. However, this season is dragging, the beach was fine for one episode but it's becoming much too redundant. The show has way too much focus on covid patients and stepped away from other medical issues. This is getting boring and I watch tv to escape the present issues and watching episode after episode this season, they are all basically the same....BORING. Also, Teddy is by far the worst character. Over the seasons she has done nothing but break up other relationships and then nothing but self pity about where she's ending up. Can't stand her character and dedicating a whole episode to her was awful. She's the worst. I will finish this season but of the show continues on, I don't think I will watch it anymore.
First, I was unable to watch 2 Thursday pm, but the ABC site is impossible to watch episodes on. Secondly, the fact that I didn't care and gave up shows me this season isn't doing anything special for me. The beach is old, and is giving me cause to believe it's the last season. Definitely one I won't be purchasing DVDs of. I need an escape by this point, from the past year and Grey's is failing. Masks are fine, but get vaccinated and show new life please. I'm lonely and depressed enough as it is.
Enough is enough. We’ve been living this pandemic long enough in our real lives. We need an escape, not a reminder. Let’s get back to uplifting entertainment.
I thought I was the only one getting sick of these beach scenes until I just read the comments. Interesting at first and a new perspective on death, but all right all ready. Please, Meredith, die or get better soon, but get off the beach!

I am a true LONG TIME Greys fanatic! I am unbelievably disappointed with this season. It is terrible. The beach scene was okay for one episode but now it’s ridiculous. I actually had to stop watching last weeks episode with Teddy and delete it about 15 minutes in. I don’t know what Shonda is up to or if Ellen Pompeo is unable to physically work or something... it’s awful regardless! The only good episode was with the memorial for Deluca even though I’m so sad he’s gone at least it seemed real. Pull it together please!
Last weeks episode was awful! Watching this season has been like a car accident that you know is coming and you just want it to be over. Thursdays were always my favorite night of television, but it's like the Meridith isn't the only thing on life support. If this is the last of Grey's it's going out with a whimper instead of the bang like it should have gotten
It was ok at first, but enough already. Let's just get on with the show. I love Grey's have watched since the beginning
But let's get meredith back in the show as she should be.
At first it was ok but it has become way to long and has gotten boring and repetitive. These each scenes could have been cut in half. Also if this is the last season I would rate this as the worst season as I’ve watched this from the beginning. Sorry only being honest.
Give up the beach. It’s getting really old, and it seems as though you are running out of new ideas for episodes. I turned it off halfway through last week, and I so used to look forward to watching it.
At first the beach was great...Derek and George were awesome to see, even though they continued to age after they died lol. But now I’m over it, it’s downright boring at this point!! Coke on shonda, can’t we move on from that, especially if this is the last season! ????
What if her ability to see both the dead and the living in her dreams, mean that Dereck could possibly still be alive? If he was suppose to start a job with the government, what if they make him fake his death? (I know that would be very cruel) but, wouldn’t it be wonderful to see him come back and finally end the series with them living happily ever after?
Enough already with the beach!! I'm ready to bail. Get better soon, Mer
