Vote: Top boys track player of the week, March 29
Kiefer Bell, Talawanda – Bell won the 400 at the Harrison Opener with a time of 50.83 seconds, finishing over two seconds quicker than the runner-up.
Kevon Grant, Northwest – Grant won the long jump at the Northwest Invitational with a 20’ result.
William Zegarski, Little Miami – Took first in the 3200-meter in 9:39.31, nearly a full minute ahead of the rest of the pack.
Elijah Doster, Lebanon – The sophomore took first place in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash as well as the long jump at the Harrison Wildcat Track Opener.
James Schmidt, Oak Hills – Schmidt dominated the 800-meter run at the Harrison opener, winning with a nine-second advantage after finishing in 1:57.52.
Isiah King, Colerain – At the Northwest Invitational, King won the 110-meter hurdle in 17.10.
Adam Smith, Moeller – Smith easily took the discus title at the Northwest Invitational, throwing at 135’1 to take first by nearly 30’. Smith then won the shot put, scoring 42’9.
