Aaron Rodgers is totally McDreamy!! And not just his handsome appearance but his relaxed manner. He truly seems to connect to each and every contestant in a genuine way. Of all the temporary hosts so far (as of May 7) Aaron has the most charisma and seems to be most at ease with the intellectual material. Maybe this is due to his intense preparation as mentioned above. And maybe he is just extremely smart. Whatever it is, he's the only one that has Alex's warmth and confidence. I think he will not only sustain the Jeopardy audience but expand it.

Aaron Rodgers has a wonderful clear, deep voice....his inter-actions with the contestants make me smile......reading fans comments saying he is boring, don't like his voice?...can't be the same Aaron Rodgers I watched for two weeks...I find his not being a professional speaker, very charming........in the two weeks he became more comfortable and I believe showed he would be perfect for the job......hope he can find a way to play ball and be host of the show! I already miss him as host.......

Why does it seem like alot of hosts are sports figures or famous commentators? Why can't we see smart women choices? Am sure there are plenty of intellectual people that could be a fresh new face for the show. Comparing 1 athlete or famous person is silly. So far all have been ho hum and boring if I am honest. Of course a replacement for Icon Alex is not easy. But please give the chance to someone who is smart and interesting and not all the male celebrities who have already made their mark!

I have watched Jeopardy since day 1. I loved Alex Trebek. My one thought when the other hosts were on is this. Everything was going too fast. With Aaron Rodgers it is more relaxed and his vice is very soothing. I had actually thought of not watching anymore, but with him I always have a smile on my face when it goes off. I would love to see him as permanent host. I think Alex would be proud.

My favorites have been Mr. Richards and Mr. Rodgers. Please don’t ever bring back Ken Jennings!! I liked Mr. Richards from the very beginning. With Mr. Rodgers, it took a few episodes. At first, I didn’t care much for him, but as I kept watching, I really liked him. He doesn’t act like he is “a celebrity”, as Ken Jennings did. Mr. Rodgers acts like he genuinely likes interacting with the contestants and has a great sense of humor. So far, for me, he is my favorite guest host. He definitely is “a keeper”!!

It was entertaining reading all the diverse comments. I am on Team Aaron all the way. Not because he's my favorite quarterback, (which he is) but because I am a devoted fan of many years, of both Jeopardy and GB who thinks he is outstanding in both positions. I enjoyed his voice, his interaction with the contestants, his obvious intelligence, his whit, his sincerity and his sense of humor. I also enjoyed watching how quickly he adapted to hosting Jeopardy during the short time he was guest host. I loved Alex, but Think Aaron Rodgers is by far the best choice as the new host of Jeopardy.
P.S. At no time did I consider the question of whether Aaron was, or was not, SEXY, to make my decision. People are saying some ridiculous things on here.

I think his reading of the clues was a bit stiff and monotone, at first. I'm sure it was nerves. As he went along, he got much better and, quite frankly, he has won me over. He seems very good-natured, humble and witty...and it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes!

Alex Trebek was the epitome of a host who was not into himself- humble, spoke extremely well and was very articulate, had the most pleasant voice and manner, brought out the best in contestants. Aaron Rodgers is the exact opposite- always making references to himself, is arrogant, and has a most annoying voice. My favourite show for 35 years. Please please please don’t ruin it with Aaron as host!! I can’t believe Katie Couric is ranked so low- she was extremely pleasant, encouraged contestants. Dr Oz should be ranked the lowest. Why don’t you have an email available post-Jeopardy shows that devoted fans can vote after each game?

I vote Aaron Rodgers. Ken Jennings is considered a natural choice, as he comes from the Jeopardy world. He has an affable personality, but my problem with him is that he resembles too close to Alex Trebek without the dynamic personality of Alex. Aaron has an interesting personality, and I am amazed at, how having no prior hosting experience, how much he’s improved in just two weeks. He now sounds and acts like a professional host. He reads the answers very well, shows a great sense of humor, is comfortable and attentive interacting with the contestants, and no longer has a monotone. Perhaps the producers should consider having the top 3 choices, with Aaron being one of the 3, to each host 4-6 weeks and see who does the best by the end of the period before choosing the permanent host. Right now though, my choice is Aaron Rodgers.

Arron Rodgers should be permanent host. Great voice and stage presence. Didn’t try and make show about him unlike Ken Jennings. Ken always tries to use stale humor for attention. I refuse to watch show if he’s new host. His voice too high and squeaky to listen to every day. Boo hiss!
Aaron's voice annoys me & his hairdo looks like Alfafa. His dialogue with the contestants was awful tho he did improve the second week. He also looks scruffy, shave please. Alex spoke beautiful French, so far Jennings was the only one that spoke it like Alex. More French questions so I can choose.
I have watched Jeopardy since day 1. I loved Alex Trebek. My one thought when the other hosts were on is this. Everything was going too fast. With Aaron Rodgers it is more relaxed and his vice is very soothing. I had actually thought of not watching anymore, but with him I always have a smile on my face when it goes off. I would love to see him as permanent host. I think Alex would be proud.
Aaron Rogers was totally boring. He spoke in a flat monotone. Katie Couric would be my first choice.
Aaron Roger's did a great job guest hosting for 2 weeks. He was cool, calm and definitely enthusiastic! I just read Joe Buck will be guest hosting. He's an arrogant know-it-all! At what point does the rotating guests come to an end? Stick with just those that have gotten good reviews!
My favorites have been Mr. Richards and Mr. Rodgers. Please don’t ever bring back Ken Jennings!! I liked Mr. Richards from the very beginning. With Mr. Rodgers, it took a few episodes. At first, I didn’t care much for him, but as I kept watching, I really liked him. He doesn’t act like he is “a celebrity”, as Ken Jennings did. Mr. Rodgers acts like he genuinely likes interacting with the contestants and has a great sense of humor. So far, for me, he is my favorite guest host. He definitely is “a keeper”!!
We have been watching Jeopardy for years. If Rodgers is selected we will not watch anymore. He is such a drone. Had better stick to football. Suffered watching the last two weeks.
It was entertaining reading all the diverse comments. I am on Team Aaron all the way. Not because he's my favorite quarterback, (which he is) but because I am a devoted fan of many years, of both Jeopardy and GB who thinks he is outstanding in both positions. I enjoyed his voice, his interaction with the contestants, his obvious intelligence, his whit, his sincerity and his sense of humor. I also enjoyed watching how quickly he adapted to hosting Jeopardy during the short time he was guest host. I loved Alex, but Think Aaron Rodgers is by far the best choice as the new host of Jeopardy.
P.S. At no time did I consider the question of whether Aaron was, or was not, SEXY, to make my decision. People are saying some ridiculous things on here.
He has done a great job. He's warm, has a sense of humor. Best yet since Alex.
I think his reading of the clues was a bit stiff and monotone, at first. I'm sure it was nerves. As he went along, he got much better and, quite frankly, he has won me over. He seems very good-natured, humble and witty...and it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes!

Not a teenager.....I"m 77 and think Aaron did a great job. He is smart, not obnoxious, professional, friendly. I'm sure Alex would be proud!
Alex Trebek was the epitome of a host who was not into himself- humble, spoke extremely well and was very articulate, had the most pleasant voice and manner, brought out the best in contestants. Aaron Rodgers is the exact opposite- always making references to himself, is arrogant, and has a most annoying voice. My favourite show for 35 years. Please please please don’t ruin it with Aaron as host!! I can’t believe Katie Couric is ranked so low- she was extremely pleasant, encouraged contestants. Dr Oz should be ranked the lowest. Why don’t you have an email available post-Jeopardy shows that devoted fans can vote after each game?

My husband and I have enjoyed Aaron Rodgers as host more than any previous fill in. He is so natural, humble and his personality brings a sparkle that has been missing since we lost Alex. We say Aaron is the man for the job. Just hope he wants the position. Kudos to Aaron

NO to both Jennings and Oz. Jennings is too pompous and completely full of himself. Oz mumbles. My opinion will not change for either of them. Right now, Mike Richards is my first choice with Aaron Rogers a real close second. Katie Couric is too fake.
Aaron May dress classy but he is as dry as dirt. His responses after an answer is slow and not swift. He may be good looking but he comes across, to me, as dull, dull, dull.

Mike Richard's should be the host. He's one classy guy that reminds me alot like Alex. Aaron just doesn't seem right for the show, Katie Couric is a definite no along with Dr. Oz. Ken Jennings is dull. I really enjoyed watching Mike Richard, he was so smooth like Alex was, great voice.
It all depends on whom they choose if I will continue to watch Jeopardy.

Ken Jennings should be the permanet host. He has personalitu, makes it enjoyable to watch. Excellent interaction with contestant's and a genuine love for the game and Alex.
I would like to see Ken Jennings get the job. He loves Jeopardy and would be a good fit. Mike Richards did an excellent job too but does he want the job. Leave Aaron on the football field.

I vote Aaron Rodgers. Ken Jennings is considered a natural choice, as he comes from the Jeopardy world. He has an affable personality, but my problem with him is that he resembles too close to Alex Trebek without the dynamic personality of Alex. Aaron has an interesting personality, and I am amazed at, how having no prior hosting experience, how much he’s improved in just two weeks. He now sounds and acts like a professional host. He reads the answers very well, shows a great sense of humor, is comfortable and attentive interacting with the contestants, and no longer has a monotone. Perhaps the producers should consider having the top 3 choices, with Aaron being one of the 3, to each host 4-6 weeks and see who does the best by the end of the period before choosing the permanent host. Right now though, my choice is Aaron Rodgers.

I feel that Aaron Rodgers does not have the personality or quick wit to fill Alex’s shoes!! His voice is monotone and he appears to like himself too much. He may have done his homework and is prepared but he just doesn’t have the “comeback” comments like Alex had. If he is chosen as the new host, I most likely will not be be watching Jeopardy anymore. Please choose a person more like Alex and his personality.

I don’t want to vote against Aaron Rodgers. The poll should have all the names available. I prefer Ken Jennings. My 2nd choice would be Mike Richards, followed by Aaron. The others would be in the minus territory in my opinion.
