By far it's Ken Jennings...People are voting for Rodgers but that is a mistake...why in the world would he give up millions for football to host Jeopardy...and I for one wouldn't wait until his football days are over...be smart Jeopardy pick Jennings!

  • Diane Klinger - 4 years ago

Aaron was the most prepared host so far. He has a commanding voice and a great sense of humor.

  • Pat Walsh - 4 years ago

Aaron was the Best by far. In fact I for one undoubtedly won't watch unless he is the host. So well prepared and intelligent and funny too. Great personality. Plus he's been a watcher of the show for many years. He definitely deserves the job!!!

  • Sonya Marvin - 4 years ago

Aaron Rodgers seems very engaged with the contestants, treating them fairly. He has a nice subtle humor with a quick wit. Enjoying watching him!

    1 prefer Ken Jennings!!

  • Bobbie - 4 years ago

I agree with others that he is a snooze. Not my choice if we had to pick from the others who have hosted. Let's see the rest of the field.

  • Brenda - 4 years ago

Why have we not seen/heard anything about LeVar Burton??? Not even a guest host appearance for this intelligent, quite articulate, avid reader who has excellent screen presence, is well--dressed and oh, so versatile! Is he being overlooked, shunned, or totally ignored? And if so - WHY?

  • Shan - 4 years ago

I agree Aaron Rogers is boring, dull and lacks charisma. Maybe nice guys finish first.
I miss Alex Trebec. No one will come close to him.
~a jeopardy fan of 35+ years

  • Mark Edmonds - 4 years ago

Aaron Rogers is boring. We quit watching him. The executive producer is political. Ken Jennings is the best.

  • Linda Hull - 4 years ago

I love Aaron Rodgers sense of humor and cute, boyish grin. He is refreshing. I don’t think he or anyone should be permanent. Not everyone will be happy with Alex’s replacement so continue with temporary guest hosts for maybe one month at a time instead of 2 weeks.

  • Judy Martin - 4 years ago

Aaron Rodgers is my favorite by far. He makes the contestants feel at ease, has a great sense of humor (which we all need more of), he's very personable and seems interested in the contestants when they talk about themselves. I have watched this show for years and I miss Alex Trebek but bring on Aaron and this will continue to be my favorite game show.

Lke Aaron I think he would be good long term Ken and Mke have long term careers Aaron wants it and he will grow into job

So many commenters judging based solely on their eyes and age.
Several women here are taking about how attractive Rodgers is as one of their reasons to pick him... Others clearly favor him because of his abilities on the football field.

What is this? Are we back in high school and you all are picking the quarter back to be prom king because he's soooooo cool and dreamy? Grow up and look beyond the surface for once in your lives.

This shouldn't be reduced to who is easiest on the eyes of who is most liked because they can throw a ball around on a field and our anti-intellectual society places more value on people who can play a stupid game than doctors, scientists, and those trained in theater/speaking/television/movies.

All you Rodgers supporters are pretty much dumb teenagers picking the dreamy star quarterback solely because you think a person's performance playing a silly game that can give it's players horrific brain injuries that can ruin their life is what's the most valuable thing in today's society.

Give the position to Aaron! I still would like to see LaVar Burton have his turn as guest host. I signed the petition and wish you would listened to us loyal fans. Aaron is young enough and committed to host for 30+ year like Alex T. If given the opportunity. Ken is too old and stiff......please don't give him the permanent position! I can't stand to watch him on the Chase. He can develop a career with ABC on the Chase so its not like he will have to collect unemployment.

  • Mary Lou Cole - 4 years ago

Ken Jenkins should be the new host. He is who Trebeck wanted to replace him.

  • Diane Carson - 4 years ago

I think we should remember that this is a "dry run". Until the job is actually yours you can't fully make it your own style. I like Aaron a lot and I really like Ken Jennings. Mike was very good but he has years of hosting experience hosting game shows and working in that business. Jeopardy is not like hosting The Price Is Right or any other game show. Jeopardy has always strived to appeal to a different audience than the average game show. I felt that for Jeopardy, Mike wasn't the right fit of course his delivery was excellent he has tons of experience. As for the other guest hosts, I DON'T want a news anchor, a political reporter, a TV doctor or an actor. I'm sure that is not what Alex would have wanted and as an avid watcher that would drive me away from a show I dearly love.

  • Don Griffin - 4 years ago

Do not let this guy get away....amazing host...smart...prepared....authentic...personable....have been in awe the entire time....the others do not come close

  • Luther Ham Jr - 4 years ago

As soon as Alex (R.I.P) passed I said Buzzy Cohen should become host.. .. .. ????

  • Ligg313 - 4 years ago

When are they going to give LeVar Burton a shot? He would be excellent at hosting.

  • Craig C - 4 years ago

Richards isn't going to step down from executive producer. He is also EP of several other shows. As much as Jennings probably deserves the job, I still enjoy Aaron's low key and humorous take on the job. Closer to Alex's sense of humor.

  • B J - 4 years ago

Aaron was good but I still prefer Mike.

  • Laura France - 4 years ago

I’m for Ken Jennings as permanent host, I thought he did fantastic and very personable too. I hope he will be interested if it is offered to him.

  • Ron Mejia - 4 years ago

    Mike Richards

  • Gloria Hardee - 4 years ago

I have enjoyed Aaron has done a great job of hosting. You could tell he was a little nervous the first night but after that he did great. Aaron, Mike or Ken would be my choices. No to Dr. Oz, definitely NO to Katie Couric and NO to Anderson Cooper. I've seen Anderson on other shows where he was a fill in! I just can't watch him. He would definitely bring politics along with him and spew his opinion I'm sure. I'm sick of politics pouring over into TV shows. If I wanted to watch political shows, which I don't, I would watch them. Keep politics out of family friendly TV shows. Especially, game shows! I still miss Alex. Such a true gentleman and knew how to be kind to all the contestants and treat everyone with respect.

  • Denise G - 4 years ago

I really like Ken Jennings as my favorite guest host so far and believe he should get the job. Ken seemed to relax and enjoy hosting after the nerves went away. I feel Alex would like Ken to carry on. Arron Rodgers did a very good job and he would be my immediate choice after Ken. Aaron was very good at reading the clues and seemed to feel comfortable. Perhaps it was because he played the game in a tournament and could relate to the contestants. I enjoyed his sense of humor, also. None of the other guest hosts appealed to me but the produce Michael Richard's did a good job and would be my third choice. I hope they choose the next host and he will love the game as much as we've loved watching Alex doing so for all those years. God Bless Alex...

  • Gary Roggenkamp - 4 years ago

We love Jeopardy and Aaron Rodgers. Aaron is intelligent, courteous and sincere. Hope he gets full time job.

  • Colleen - 4 years ago

I’m crazy for Aaron Rodgers! He’s awesome and humble and smart and relaxed! He’s also fun loving! I coudn’t stand Katie Couric (so phony). I found Ken Jennings to be too hyper and annoying. My second fave is Mike Richards. The future guest hosts Anderson Cooper and Savannah Guthrie are way too political. No partisan political people please! We all watch to escape this sort of thing!

  • DW - 4 years ago

    Bueller, Bueller, Bueller....
Dry eyes, red eyes, clear eyes...
I'd rather watch reruns of Ben Stein movies and commercials than another second of Aaron Rodgers hosting Jeopardy! He's sickening.
Mike or Ken will keep me watching.

  • Donna N. - 4 years ago

Thank you Tom S. I couldn’t agree more with everything you said. Especially the marionette. ????????????Aaron Rodgers should be the permanent host.

  • Terry - 4 years ago

If Aaron wants the job he should definitely get it. He has the right demeanor and the smarts.

  • Donna - 4 years ago

I love & miss Alex Trebek but I totally agree with Lois. Although I thought the producer Mike Richards did a fine job I think Aaron Rodgers should be the permanent host. All the other hosts were so annoying. I don’t care for Katie, Ken, or Dr. Oz. He always looks miserable. It was depressing watching until Aaron came on to host. What’s not to like about him? I could watch him 24/7.

  • Carla Alexander - 4 years ago

I find Aaron Rodgers voice to be extreeeeemely boring. He should stick to what he knows best. I personally would choose Ken Jennings. In my opinion he earned the right to host the show.

  • Preston - 4 years ago

Aaron has a great personality I'm amazed how glib and intelligent he is with a great sense of media for being a pro athlete. he comes across the best.

  • Tom S - 4 years ago

Aaron Rodgers has done a great job as guest host. All you haters, just hate the man. Saying he has no personality.... he's been a face of the NFL and commercials for a decade. He has plenty of personality. If he brought more "personality", you would complain he wasnt letting the game and contestants get the focus.
No one can ever replace Alex trebek. Aaron Rodgers and Mike Richards have been far and away the best we have seen. I won't watch if Jennings becomes full time host. Looks like a marionette puppet with zero personality. And the other 2 were a joke not even worth mentioning

  • Sarah Anderson - 4 years ago

Ken Jennings first and always. Then Aaron. Won't watch much if at all if Mike gets the job. No one else comes anywhere close.

  • Donna Wallace - 4 years ago

Can’t stand Rodgers. Ken Jennings has my vote.

  • Kimberly Peterson - 4 years ago

I just started watching Jeopardy again because of Aaron. I love how calm and methodical and sexy he is! I probably won’t watch if he isn’t hosting.

  • Laura Hedden - 4 years ago

Do not favor well known celebrities. It becomes about them, not the game and contestants. I really dislike the tremendous social media push through articles about how popular for instance Rodgers is. Makes me feel like he is trying to guy the job. Jennings or Richards, leave the others home.

  • Edward Kantrowitz - 4 years ago

Rodgers is likeable and comes off as real and apolitical compared to the lefty news people who are scheduled to host.
I love Jeopardy and have watched it for years, just missing being a contestant. Please don't ruin it with a political host!!

  • Moses - 4 years ago

If I have to watch another episode with Aaron Rodgers I think my head will explode

  • Don - 4 years ago

Aaron Rogers, Hands Down!! His toned down approach makes everyone, competitors and viewers, feel relaxed and at ease! I like his humor to, especially tonight with "Ashley ", lol. He has won my wife over to. She said he was boring the first week. But has changed her mind now. Mike Richards did an excellent job also.

  • DOLORES PERINE - 4 years ago

Roger's has the most boring voice ever. It felt like he was on for 2 months. Jennings is my favorite.

  • Ruth B Hurwitz - 4 years ago

I find Rodgers boring and devoid of any personality. I will continue to watch guest hosts but will not continue if Rodgers is chosen as permanent host.

  • Jay Staggs - 4 years ago

Aaron Rogers is a perfect host. He is smart, quick witted, relaxed, and very affable. I love watching the shows he has hosted. The fact that he did his prep work by watching old episodes tells me he should be the new host of Jeopardy. Good luck Aaron!

  • MaryJo - 4 years ago

Rodgers has a very monotone voice and boring. My opinion!

  • Colleen Russell - 4 years ago

I liked the EP and I really enjoy Aaron Rodgers. I'm waiting to see Anderson Cooper before I really allow myself to form an opinion. I have a feeling he's going to be my favorite.

  • Sally - 4 years ago

If we want another Alex, then Ken comes closest

If we want to put a totally different spin on the game, Aaron’s low key approach with well placed humor is a good choice.

We have to give all the hosts a chance before deciding. Who knows, the one we choose may not even want the job.

  • Deanna Baker - 4 years ago

I hope that Aaron Rodgers becomes the new host of Jeopardy he did an amazing job he made it interesting and he's very kind-hearted

  • J. . - 4 years ago

    Very boring tone.

  • Nan - 4 years ago

I’m torn about choosing. I can definitely give my opinion on those I don’t want!
    1. Oz
    2 Jennings
    3. Courier
    Some interesting contenders coming up.
Guess I’ll have to tune in!
It’s been interesting so far, although I did turn off and tune out while Oz did his stint. Ugh!!!!

  • Tracy H - 4 years ago

I think Aaron is doing a good job. I also liked Mike Richards and Katie Couric.

  • Patrea r - 4 years ago

Aaron Rodgers has personality and a great smile. I’m not ever watching if you put on some liberal commentator as permanent host. It’s not what Alec would have wanted either. This show should NOT be politically driven!!!! It’s a game!

  • June - 4 years ago

I think Rogers is great & definitely should get the position - I don't care who else is left to be on..
No one can replace Alex but he wanted the show to go on. They are not going to be able to please everyone.

  • Rhonda Silver - 4 years ago

Aaron Rodgers reminds me of Ron Burgundy from the movie Anchorman. This is most decidedly NOT meant as a compliment.

  • nala eokbi - 4 years ago

listening to rodgers is like listening to a sponge

  • Debbie - 4 years ago

Love Aaron Rogers as Jeopardy host ! He’s a keeper. Alex would be proud !

  • Nina Mahan - 4 years ago

Aaron doesn’t have the right voice to emcee. So boring!!!

  • Frank Williams - 4 years ago

Brad Ritter or Buzzy Cohen would be wonderful permanent hosts.... when they need a vacay Aaron should come back... Alex would be proud of them all.

  • Emma - 4 years ago

????No personality. Boring! Please, anyone is better than him.

  • Lois - 4 years ago

Extremely personable, seems relaxed, knowledgeable and seems to enjoy the hosting. So far I really don’t care for Ken Jennings and the others are so-so. The producer did a nice job but I still prefer Aaron Rodgers. In my opinion Ken Jennings is rather bland.

  • Thomas - 4 years ago

The praise for Aaron is all fake. He's good looking, but he shouldn't give up his day job. I'm tired of these athletes trying to take over Hollywood. He's no Alex or Bob Barker for that matter.

  • Debbie Benetti - 4 years ago

I have enjoyed Aaron Rodgers host jeopardy. I usually do not watch but would continue watching if he Gleason the permanent host

  • Sylvia Windsor - 4 years ago

Rodgers has no personality and was boring and if he is made host of jeopardy that will be the end of my watching. Also I won't watch Levar Burton. No One, absolutely no one can replace Alex Trebek so why not go with a woman. As far as I know there are NO women hosts for game shows. It is time for a woman. Rodgers may be a good football player but he is slow, clumsy and lacks communication with the contestant skills. He should just go back to tossing the football or whatever. Rodgers or Burton -- I'm done after all these years. No more Jeopardy!

  • Jo-Anne L Beckerich - 4 years ago

4/15. Aaron Rodgers has no personality and is conceited. He is no material for a permanent host of Jeopardy. I will not watch Jeopardy if he is chosen. Jo-Anne L. Beckerich

  • Elsbeth Foote - 4 years ago

I think mr. Rodgers would be a good choice.

  • Donna Sweeney - 4 years ago

    Mike, Mike, Mike
