Some of the best business gets done on the floor, at meals and cocktail hours. That was lost last year and you can feel it. Be good to see people (even behind a mask) and network. Praying there will be no socialist practices of verifying papers (vaccine passport) for admittance. If you're healthy and risk adverse go, if you are not then HIMSS is providing a way to get involved. We need to move forward.

I am going to Himss21 to accept and award and celebrate our chapters volunteer efforts and hard work.

Why would anyone attend this for any reason other than social after the way they treated people last year. Hint- they have always treated people- both exhibitors and attendees that way, it was just very visible last year. I’ve gone for many years and cannot recall any significant learning or insight garnered. Simply a company paid way to see friends and colleagues.
