Its wrong to confine the maid but i think its time MOM needs to relook into this issue. I have had 2 maids who both worked for less than a year each though the initial agreement / contract was 2 years. This has cost me quite a lot of money and inconvenience. Employers have to bear everything / costs in this kind of situation and these days lots of maids have that kind of mentality to just try out and if they are not happy they can just quit! Kind of paid for staycation/holiday for them at no loss. Of course not all maids are like that . I have a third maid now and just hope she will stay and work for 2 years.
