So sad that writers managed to divide yet again Americans who loved watching this show. It was obvious what the creators and writers political views are. Leah couldn’t be given not even 1 good reason for voting for Biden other than the negative false information on why to hate Trump. I don’t support any political party but I can clearly see and would not stand for subliminal indirect unfairness treatment and bias in this show. Another show off my DVR.

The show is about a young doctor that has aspberger syndrome and it is very interesting and splash of politics is fine, makes it all more real, I’m
A fan of the show and will keep watching

Bravo any dialogue on one view vs the other is a step in the right direction for our country. Excellent.

Those complaining about the politics above ..need to realize each side has good things...I think that is what they were trying to show here and did a very good job with it. It won't be every show with this show...at least directly addressing it.

The show itself... is very liberal. You have had trans people on the show and a gay man portrayed with Asher. But according to you mentioning the divide in a very balanced way...is bad?

I thought this episode was excellent and it shows how each side can be pretty crappy.

Show jumped the shark after they killed off Melendez.
It’s become painful watching another great medical show turn into a dope opera. Cant wait for the series to end.

Omg. Why do these writers feel the need to constantly LECTURE THE VIEWERS!!
Stop bringing your own opinions and politics into the shows.
I turned it off after 10 minutes.

My husband and I have not missed a single episode of Good Doctor since day one. It has easily been our favorite show for these 4 years. We do not appreciate the politics, we turned off this last episode after 10 minutes. Since we voted for Trump twice...and we are part of “the intolerable right”, we have decided that we do not need to tolerate your obvious bias. We join the growing list of people who will no longer watch Good Doctor, unless you go back to your normal unbiased productions.

I thought it was unnecessary to push politics into the otherwise entertaining show....you just lost many of your viewers due to that propaganda.....and I'm sorry that your writers felt it was opportunistic to bring up a subject that has been run into the ground and no longer exists because people like you all allowed a poor (well not poor)demented man to illegally steal the seat of president and his handmaiden in crime to attempt to run this country and they have successfully run it into the dumpster and made the US look like fools again...just as Obama planned.....good job! I hope your ilk are happy!

Love the drama, The Good Doctor. The first show that I’ve seen this year that even remotely presented both sides of politics. Differing in opinion and values are what make us uniquely special. Working together inspite of our opinions is what makes us human.

So disappointed that yet another of my favorite shows has decided to bash conservative views! Claire espousing her liberal bias while painting conservatives as “ the right being so intolerant “! Anybody with a brain knows the left is so intolerant they claim racism if you don’t agree. And her comment about Trump supporters should be vilified was over the top! If this keeps up I will dump this show just like I did with SVU!

Can't even watch tv anymore without having political shows that's not entertainment our family watch tv shows to escape the political views . I don't want to see anything from Democrats or Republicans Thank GOD for DVDs. These networks are loosing viewer after the last episode we will no longer watch the political good doctor

  • Judy - 3 years ago

Very disappointing. Sick of the political divide. I am a Trump supporter and proud of it. Sick of being treated like i have the plague because i do support him. Leave this garbage out of the show or it will loose ratings. As we have said once again Biden supporter could not say why she supported him. That should tell you something

  • Cathy - 3 years ago

Please no more political posturing. Asher timidly mentioned voting for Trump "once" doesn't exactly shine an equal light on both sides anyway. I will watch the show maybe one more time, but if this continues, I'm out.

  • Janie Birmingham - 3 years ago

Please, please, please keep politics out of the show. Everyone is so tired of the terrible experience of the 2020 elections and the January 6 riots let alone the pandemic that we had and still are dealing with that we just want to take our minds away from the turmoil and just enjoy your show!

I’m done with the good doctor. I’ve always enjoyed the show, but since they decided to show their true colors, I’m done. Hollywood always think they are so cute and smart by injecting politics. Bad move on their part. I’ll never watch again.

The Good Doctor is the BEST show on television. Great stories. Great actors. Please don’t let Leah loose the baby.

I’m so sick of politics being injected into every show. What will it take for Hollywood to wake up and see they lose viewers every time they do it. I will give the Good Doctor another chance since it’s a favorite show of mine, but if the politics continue, I’m history.

  • Kim - 3 years ago

I like The Good Doctor but don’t like that you have to interject politics into it. Can’t you just have a good doctor show without trying to compromise anyone’s political stance??

  • Linda G Setser - 3 years ago

So sick of politics being injected into good TV shows. Will not be watching The Good Doctor anymore.

  • Michele kiracofe - 3 years ago

I love the good doctor but like others I won’t watch these shows that are determined to interject politics and race.

  • Charles Bradbury - 3 years ago

Turned it off after the first 10 minutes. So tired of American politics. And, to inject them into TV shows I USED to like makes me mad as hell.

  • Lisa Laker - 3 years ago

It was good to see a more balanced political perspective. I was happy to see that "most" of the characters in the show didn't personally attack a person with the opposite views. It appeared to me that Claire was the most vitriolic when she found out that Asher had voted for Trump. Asher was right when he said that he kept his ekec choice to himself so that he would not be vilified, which he obviously was by Claire.
I am Canadian and am not a Trump supporter. However, from my observation anyone who is Trump supporter is automatically painted in the most negative light.

    Outstanding episode

  • Ruthi - 3 years ago

Please keep politics out of these shows. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of politics ruining my love for these shows.

  • Rachel - 3 years ago

I praise the show for bringing to light that people are allowed to have difference of opinions and that's where dialogue, debate, and compromise happens. Having difference of opinions have shown other possible ways to do things. It is a freedom we all should be afforded.
