We're in a pandemic. Plain and simple. This is a play by Trumper Republicans to capitalize on their delusion. So the guy ate out. His fault if he gets Covid. So he traveled to see family. Millions of people have continued to travel despite being asked not to. Bottom line is people are nit picking. This recall will cost the state millions of dollars for nothing but they don't care because he's a Democrat. If he wins, I'd like to see everyone who signed the petition and the organizers repay the State.

Gov, Newsom has done nothing wrong to warrant a recall.
This is a political stunt, pure and simple by republicans.
Do we really need the added cost of this "special' election? Millions of dollars for a republican stunt?
Apparently republicans think they can only win by stunts, cheating and trying to prevent people from voting.
Just take a look at all the laws they are passing in multiple states to prevent people from voting.
No one should have to get a notarized letter from a doctor in order to receive an absentee ballot or stand in line for many hours because there's only one polling place in a 30 mile radius.
As far as standard and morals go---really? Do you see them doing anything about Matt Gaetz or "Jewish space lasers cause fires in California" M. T. Greene? No, nothing, they can't even police their own.
How about the other Congressional members that clearly supported the insurrection on 1/6?
Their silence is deafening. They do nothing about blatant racism within their party, those that aren't racist are silent.
They need to clean up their own party but apparently that's too difficult for them.
I'm moderate/conservative on a number of issues but I will NEVER vote or support politicians that put their party over COUNTRY.

He needs to be removed from his position! He is ruining this state by allowing criminals free, homeless have more rights them homeowners, small businesses on the brink of loosing everything while he was still eating out, kids in private schools and traveling to his in-laws Montana ranch while he put our state in a lockdown! Hypocrite at its finest

The Governor has committed no offense that rises to the level of recall. This is a groundless attempt to impugn Governor Newsom's integrity for no good reason other than a predictable Trumpist attempt at theft, which they are good at.
