As a expat of almost 50 years, l remember the Victory Arch vividly, heading over to the baths, or to fish for flukies with my throwie oot line. It would be a fabulous back drop for any event in Slessor Gardens, also it would prevent another office building being built obscuring the beautiful vista that is there now.

I think the royal arch should of never been demolished as its a big part of Old Dundee's heritage.
