South Carolina is looking to bring back firing squads as a form of execution, for when lethal injection isn't an option. Thoughts?
Aren't firing squads a little... archaic? I'm not sure I support this.
I'm for it — death by firing squad is practically instant and painless, which I've heard is not always the case for lethal injection.
I'm definitely against this, and any forms of capital punishment. The state shouldn't be executing anyone.
I guess this is a viable option when injections aren't available? Especially when the other option is the electric chair.
This isn't an issue I care about.
