I don’t understand why Zoey and Max were supposed to end up together. I think it would have been more interesting to see Zoey and Simon end up together and make it work. I don’t think it was fair to the actor playing Simon. He is top notch. It would have been braver to have a black man and a white woman making it together...on national television. This ending was totally predictable, has a been-there-done-that feel. They put Simon neatly back in his corner doing his “black man” stuff...instead of giving him a starring role in the show. I had higher expectations for the show and the writers. Maybe next season they can fix this...

This episode, and the show as a whole, is a wonderful way to explore relationships and enjoy fabulous musical numbers. Especially now, with live musical theater shut down due to Covid, we get new numbers and great choreography every episode.
This gives us the hope that Zoey will finally open up a bit and Mo will give Perry the chance to overcome his doubts. I loved Zoey and Simon but Zoey and Max feels right. Unless Zoey could let Simon know that she was aware of his grief before she even met him, she'll always have this huge secret that is really about him.
I love Rose and I wish her well. She's a great character and I hope we see her again, but happy with someone else.

Love the show, the musical number are above and beyond great.
Alex Newell as Mo is fantastic, I think his character really brings out the uniqueness of the show.
Please don't cancel this show I think it's one of best shows on TV,
It brings me to my happy place!!
