I had thought “The Rookie” was off the air. I was so happy to find it on Hulu and then find it was actually in its third season. It is the most racially mixed show on TV. Also, it even deals with many issues that aren’t dealt with on other cop/crime series. This keeps the viewer interested. In addition, the female characters are all strong willed, intuitive and smart. They are women with strong verbal tones and attitude, which is not generally represented on television.

PLEASE...
Love the show, but like so many shows, especially cop types, you play such loud music on top of the dialog, that it's extremely difficult to understand what's being said. This intensifies especially at the very end of the shows.
I miss too much of what's going on.
