If the school's objective was to support diversity, then why won't they accommodate diversity? The school is saying, "We want our students to feel free to respectfully share different viewpoints - while we reserve the right to silence any we choose." How unbelievably hypocritical.

Is this another form of government-orchestrated conformity-based cancel culture? It looks like a duck and walks like a duck...

Why would they censor things are the in our constitution?
“ I ‘Heart’ America,’ ‘Free Speech,’ and ‘USA’. Is what unites us all. All they did was Strengthen conservatives on the photo and push more division. Lousy school job on pursuing unity.

Isn’t great how the first group to complain about this gets to set the truth, when that is indeed not the truth. Everyone’s stickers were removed regardless of club affiliation. Just because this was the first club to notice this does not mean they are the only ones affected, especially when the day was meant to celebrate the diversity and minority clubs on the campus, when the white privileged club is anything but a minority.

Nothing on those shirts were hurtful to anyone . I cannot believe the news acting like this was fine and was what the people want and voted for .I think it is not what people want . We want to have the freedom of speech even if we do not agree with other’s opinions...... It’s called freedom .

It’s crazy how when it comes to loving your country and freedom… what our country was built on you get censored but if all of them were wearing blm stuff this wouldn’t even be in discussion. Cancel cancel culture.

I think that it was not only politically but also morally wrong for the school and the district to silence students' freedom of speech especially since they have previously denied creating other student body groups such as a White, Hispanic, and even an Asian up until they were a targeted minority. Whitney High School is really going against their word of "all inclusion" and their "Inclusion week" posters around campus and classroom doors. they are purposely silencing students that have different opinions than theirs trying to make their own more prominent. They have also previously silenced students whom have worn masks that voice their opinions while other students can wear masks pertaining to more sensitive and recent events such as George Floyd and BLM. The school and District are both in the wrong for this improper use of editing in order to censor students' freedom of speech just so that whatever they choose to push out fits their narrative.

It's just the darnedest thing how only 'certain opinions' seem to get censored. "Free speech"... as long as you think what you're told to think. I'm proud of these young people.
