It’s one of the best first episodes of any series I’ve ever seen, and the rest of the season was almost as good. I fell in love with all the characters. My only quibble is the pacing was a little off at times; I loved all the threads but they spent a little too much time on the non-Gus parts at times.
I know it’s only the first weekend, but I’m already afraid we won’t get a second season. Even though it’s gotten great reviews, the lack of positive comments in these forums and others make me worry it’s not on people’s radars the way it deserves to be.
